Dr. Rivers and her professional team are amazing. I loved the way she explained to me and my husband about my breast cancer diagnosis and the surgery in a detail manner, taking the time to answered all our questions and concerns. She gave me all the options and explained each in detail. I would definitely recommend her to other people looking for her services. The best doctor I have ever had! Her professional team is also very caring and supportive.

Recently diagnosed with DCIS. Dr. Rivers was highly recommended to me by several other doctors. From my first visit to my last visit Dr. Rivers was very kind, compassionate, understanding, soft spoken & very caring. She is highly educated. I recommend this sweetheart of a doctor to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Rivers complete office staff is also very kind & compassionate & knowledgeable.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer around May 2017. With the diagnosis came alot of uncertainty and unknowns. Dr. Rivers was there for me during the entire process. Very informative, genuine aND forthcoming with everything. Options were given, step by step of what was going to take place. No surprises because of her being so informative. She provided all the pre and post support to me. I was very sad to hear Parkland was losing such an amazing doctor. The state of Florida is getting a JEWEL.

I think Dr. Rivers is one of the most patient doors I've ever had. She is very humble, courteous and caring as well. After my cancer diagnosis, I met with Dr. Rivers who clearly explained to me (with the aid of pictures and diagrams) the extent of my cancer and the surgical procedure. She was one of my biggest supports before and after surgery. I was so impressed with her knowledge and expertise, considering the fact that she had about five years of experience at the time and was so young. I appreciate everything this doctor has done for me and I highly recommend her to anyone needing breast surgery. Great Doctor.

Dr. Rivers took plenty of time to explain everything to me and my family. She cared about the patient. Gave me all the options and explained each in detail. She was available to speak with on the phone when needed. I would definitely refer others to her and have her as my surgeon again! One of the best doctors I have ever had!

After another breast surgeon who made we wait a week for an appointment to discuss my cancer diagnosis and then refused to see me because of my insurance - I went to the breast care center at Beaumont Hospital and was seen by Dr. Rivers. She had been in surfery all day and looked so tired yet sat down with me and spent nearly an hour going over my diagnosis. She was very patient with my questions and reassuring. She did an excellent job with my double mastectomies and all my follow up appontments have been a pleasure. She always asks about me as a person before proceeding with the exam. She has a easy relaxed manner and I have never felt rushed. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Rivers had a terrible bedside manner and couldn't be bothered answering my questions. She spent a total of 5 minutes with me versus the additional 35 minutes I had to wait for her. I definitely would look for another surgeon.
