Dr. Agara Srinivasa Reddy, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Reddy for 4-5 years and it's been pleasant. He's always courteous, punctual, and professional. I was having a rough go at life when he first started treating me. I'm back to living and loving life now. I think some of the negative reviews here are from people who have a misunderstanding of what a Psychiatrist does, and some spiteful reviews from drug seekers. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor, a physician, he prescribes medication to treat psychiatric disorders and diseases. He is not a psychologist, so if your expectation of a psychiatrist visit is to lay on a comfy sofa and talk about your problems, well you better go see a psychologist. If you want to figure out what possible psychiatric disorders and diseases and or problems you're having quickly and find a way to medically treat it; then you'll be more then satisfied with Dr. Reddy.

As so many have said, he will not keep meds filled. In addition, after seeing him for nearly years (when you're depressed, it's too hard to change), he suddenly, without discussion, warning, or tapering, cut my primary medication in 1/2 at a stressful time. (He wrote the prescription wrong, and when I asked him to correct it, he said let's just cut it!) I asked him please not to do this right now and he not only refused, but lied about the reason. I was doing well on the meds; his reason for cutting was the gov't says the meds cause dementia (I have an active intellectual life and am in no danger; besides, it is patently false.) I am so disgusted that yes, I'm going to go elsewhere, although my phone and social phobias and not driving make it hard for me to start all over someplace else. But I can't put up with this carelessness anymore. As others have said, he leaves patients without meds (surprised there has been no action about this) and frankly, after 10 yrs, it is obvious by… our visits that he knows nothing about me. His personality is all wrong for the profession, and Center Point either does not know or care.

Dr. Reddy Is hands-down an awesome doctor!He has excellent communication skills and he truly cares about his patients. He is NOT a doctor that will just refill your prescriptions, it is a MUST that you have an appointment with him! He is a very respectable human being! I have, I will and I do refer him to everybody!

I have been seeing Dr. Reddy for over 8 years and have nothing negative to say. He is warm, caring, attentive and is very knowledgeable. Refills are always on time. I would have no problem referring him to anyone who is needing a psychiatrist.

Was very strange man. did things his way Did any ask relivent questions It was like he wanted me in there longer for an odd reason or to make more money. Very poor rating

hard to get him to refill maintenance meds. wal-mart calls' he won't return call. (Sometimes) Out of 3 meds again this wk -- have been leaving messages. have to go without several days a week on and off all yr.

Dr teddy is a pretty good Dr but his Secretary is very rude and unfriendly. His Secretary is the sole reason I will not return to see him. I refuse to deal with her.

Cannot get ahold of anyone to schedule an appointment. I've tried 4 times now.

Dr. Reddy has gotten me through the most traumatic experiences of my life. He is kind and patient, and always there for me. He identified a problem I've experienced all of my life, and with the medication he prescribed, I feel like a a horrible weight has been lifted from me. I will always be very grateful to him. Dr. Reddy's Office Manager has been equally kind and caring. She is always willing to do whatever is necessary to help me with insurance issues, dealing with my pharmacy, appointment dilemmas, and financial issues.

I have been seeing Dr Reddy for sometime now. He and his staff are considerate, and professional. His office manager, Mary has been especially helpful.
