Dr. Ahmad Al-Hamda, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Alhamda’s for 13 yrs. He is the only Neurologist I trust I have seen several for my condition and he is the only one I trust! He has always made me feel at ease, talks to me not only like a human being but like a friend, he actually cares. I will Never go anywhere else unless I absolutely have to!

Very experienced very knowledgeable down-to-earth will make you feel comfortable I felt relaxed will recommend him to anyone and I will return

I think Dr. Alhamda is a great doctor.

He is now @ tristate nurology and he has show poor service at this located. He will not listen to your problems and the office staff is unorganized. If u need a refill or anything u need to just go up there. The office manager is never available and rude as every.

THIS DOCTOR IS LATE, RUDE, SARCASTIC AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HE IS NOT COURTEOUS AND HIS BEDSIDE MANNERS STINK. HE HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE DYING OR THEIR FAMILY. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CLOWN TO ANYONE. THEY NEED TO REVOKE THE LICENSE OF THIS POMPOUS FART!

he was horrible.....the waiting room in his dyersburg office is small....his staff is rude, he is rude...he asked me if I was molested as a child and told me all my problems where in my head. I don't recommend anyone to go see him...I know my body and know there is something wrong with me...he wanted me to diagnosis myself...I left in tears!!!!!

My daughter is in elementary school and has been having headaches on a daily basis. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Alhamda. After over 2 hours in the waiting room, we were finally called back only to wait another 30-40 minutes in a private room. When he finally came in, he was a little too friendly towards my daughter and stroked her leg from knee to ankle for several minutes and then did it again later during the appointment. It made she and I both very uncomfortable. The discussion was not what I would think a neurologist would have with a child that age. It seemed like we were at a don't drop out of school counseling season instead of trying to figure out why she is having headaches. She is an honor roll student and loves school, but when we left, she was confused. She said why would he say if I don't like math, then I have to program my mind to like math . . . why would he say it's okay to be mean to kids at school and to your mom so they know how you feel . . . I'm… suppose to have respect for adults and not be like that. I understand he thinks she holds stuff inside and may need to communicate more because they could be tension headaches; but you don't put thoughts in a child's head that loves school, that everyone doesn't like math or that they should be mean to people. There are other ways to teach them to express their feelings but telling them to "be mean" to people should not be one of them. In addition, he was way to willing to give out medication, in my opinion. We left with 3 prescriptions for headaches and I don't think there were enough questions to warrant them. We even kept a headache logs for 3 months before the appointment and he had no interest in seeing it. He wanted us to start a new log for 2 weeks after she started the medication. I'm not for overmedicating my kids so I would think you would want to figure out what is causing them before just medicating them. Anyway, we left and my daughter said she never wanted to go back. I called the next day and left a message for Dr. Alhamda to please call me because I had some questions about my daughter's appointment and he never returned my call. After a week, I called his office and cancelled our follow-up appointment because he never called back and I couldn't ask him the importance of the speech and questions he gave my daughter that day. As a parent, I wanted to know the importance of them.

Loved this doctor! Great with my son and highly recommend him for child neurology.

I brought in my 80 year old father for a followup to a hospital stay. We waited over 2 hours and still had not been called back. He'd had enough so we left without seeing the doctor. If the wait is going to be that long, then they need to have the courtesy to reschedule you when you come in the door. Our time is valuable too.
