My first visit I was very anxious. He is genuinely concerned man, soft voice, and office staff as well. I feel very comfortable with him. That's not an easy thing for me.

I was a previous patient of Dr. Ardekani but changed doctors because he does not care about his patients. You wait hours to see him but only spend 10 minutes tops with him. On two occasions, the office staff forgot about me and I had to remind them that I was still waiting and multiple people who had appointments after me has already been seen. He falls asleep while you are telling him how things are going and he cannot even read your chart before you go in to see him so he can appear to know about you. While sitting in the waiting room you will hear people talking about the controlled medication they are on and how he will prescribe anything they want and that’s why they will wait hours for 5-10 minutes with the doctor. If you are looking to abuse pills, Dr. Ardekani is the doctor for you. Just expect to wait a ridiculous amount of time for an uninterested doctor who may or may not fall asleep.

I have been seeing Dr. A since I was 19 years old. He was assigned me when I was at Hyland. I was blessed to get such an amazing Dr. Do not let these reviews scare you away. He cares a lot about his patients and especially cares that they are taking the correct medication and dosage. I will be a patient of his until he stops practicing. He is a good Dr. with a lot of knowledge on many different mental health issues. His daughter Sherry is also great!

I was a patient of his briefly when admitted to St. Anthony's for depression. He saw me for about five minutes, and appeared to me to be very arrogant and uncaring. He took me completely off the medications I was taking, I had been taking prozac and xanax for years prescribed by my personal psychiatrist. Within hours I began having hallucinations and became very sick. He told me he would sign paper work to release me the following morning and did not, so I went a whole other day suffering from hallucinations and paranoia, which I had never experienced before in my life. I would never recommend him to anyone.
