Outstanding Doctor Visit for my Annual Physical. I wish I'd found Dr. Charkawi years ago.

Ive never had a worse experience at a medical practice as i did today. I came in as a new client for a physical and some health issues but after waiting 40+ mins Dr. Zack Charkawi came in and told me that i can either have a physical or he can address my concerns he cant do both. I let him know about having trouble breathing my whole life headaches and ear pain. After a few seconds of him checking my ears & nose and then my breathing he said that i have swollen lymph nodes (which i do not have) and allergies (also dont have). That i would need a prescription for allergies and would have to use a nasal spray for the rest of my life and he would have to refer me to an ear nose & throat specialist & a neurologist and left. The nurse then came in & gave me a prescription for swollen lymph nodes and a referral to a neurologist. i asked her what about my ear pain? and my headaches? and my breathing? She then said the doctor is now with another patient and i would have to wait again to… see him. I had then been there over an hr and explained that i can not wait any further i need the referral at least to see the nose ear and throat doctor. She said that he didn't tell her that so she cant get it and that im free to go see another doctor somewhere else. When I went to explain my concern to the office manager the nurse came up and told her that the doctor said for me to leave or to have my physically removed. Mind you i am also 9 months pregnant! This is the worse place you could go if you're seeking any kind of medical treatment. The doctors and staff only see money not patients. The doctor doesn't spend more than 5 mins with you and the staff have no compassion. Save yourself the heartache & your time & money and go somewhere else.

He's a very polite doctor, very educated, gives me the time I need when I am there for my vists. There has been a couple of times when he was rushed, but overall I would recommend him to anyone for primary care.
