Dr. Mansour is the best urology surgeon in the world in my opinion. He explained the procedures he would be using in a manner that we could easily understand and with compassion. He, along with his team of top doctors robotically preformed a seven to eight hour surgery on my nephew in August of 2023. They went in from the opposite side of the cancerous kidney and removed it along with the mass that was attached to it and the main artery from the kidney up past the liver and nearing the heart. They videoed the operation to teach others the process and will, without a doubt, save many lives around the world. We went back for a review of his latest scans and blood work on the 18th of January and all showed Cancer Free. We also received excellent care at UTHealth. This is a truly remarkable operation. No incision, no stitches, no pain. Whatever Dr. Mansour does, during this surgery, he did with such professionalism that I experienced no post-op pain or discomfort. If it had not been for the occasional blood (which is expected) and the improved flow, I would not have able to tell anything had been done. SUPPORT STAFF I had a one-day recovery in the hospital after surgery. I give my thanks and gratitude to all those medical staff who attended to me both before and after the surgery. They are professional, well trained, competent, and courteous.
