Dr. Nassar did cataract removal and lens replacement on my moms left eye. The procedure was not successful. He never discussed with my mom or any family member that he was not successful in removing the cataract, therefore leaving fragments in my moms left eye. He was not present for her post surgery evaluation. Dr Dangerfield was there in his absence. I had to initiate the discussion about lens fragments and the unsuccessful results of the cataract removal. Dr Dangerfield had to call Dr Nassar on the phone to get the surgery results. So unprofessional. To this day, a month after the cataract procedure, Dr Nassar has not discussed the results of my moms surgery with her or any family member. It’s as though, he tries to do as many procedures as he can do in one day and he has no regard for his patients or surgery results. I will not refer anyone to Dr Nassar.

They don't know the difference between medical insurance operations and vision. They literally were arguing with me about my insurance being pediatric vision when I explained that they need to ask for the medical division not vision. They kept telling me my insurance was not medical. I had to take the time out of my day to call the insurance and get them to call the incapable customer agents at this doctors office to explain that I did have medical insurance. My Insurance advised that Vivian called them and said the doctor only accepts vision insurance. The procedure I need is a medical procedure not covered by any vision plans. I asked advised them of this when I made the appointment! I cancelled the appointment of course. Why would I go to a doctor whose workers are incapable of finding out the correct information and that get an attitude with you when you try to correct them. They refused to listen. Oscar sent me a list of doctors that covered my procedure in network. Oh yeah, and… she had no clue that Oscar was a medical insurance company. She kept asking if it was under Aetna or BCBS. I kept telling her Oscar IS medical insurance, equivalent to Aetna. SMH.

He found the tumor in my daughter's eye & after a less than positive experience with a local teaching hospital, he directed us to another & excellent neuro-opthalmo. We moved away & I am thinking of driving the 400 miles to see him again since I've not found an eye doc with his excellence in all areas. A FINE DOCTOR.

I can't thank you enough for explaining the procedure, why I should relax and probably most importantly --- I can see great!I never thought I could get a cataract in my 30's. Your Atlanta office, off of Cleveland Ave., was great. The staff made me comfortable and I really appreicate the time you spent with me.
