She doesn’t respect patients with autism. The last time I saw her, I was expecting to see Dr. Eileen Widrick, but instead seen by Aileen. During the appointment, she abruptly asked if I had a job since I don’t have medical problems. My mom explained that I had autism and not currently working. Aileen didn’t respect my disability which is why she pressured my parents to make me find a job immediately after the appointment without understanding my needs or autonomy. She then tries to mess up my video game routines and says ,”I want him to play a little bit.” Her behavior is unacceptable and she doesn’t even know me that well. At the end of the appointment, she said this to my mom, “I hope he finds a job and your job is to find him a job.” We pretend to acknowledge and her manipulation didn’t work. I came to see professional healthcare and we’re supposed to see Dr. Eileen, not some wannabe doctor who makes decisions about my life and doesn’t know me at all. If you’re autistic,… neurodivergent, I won’t recommend her because she’s an uninformed and manipulative provider.
