Dr Aileen M. Whelan, MD

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Whelan. She’s been my mom’s doctor for over 25 years, and she’s far more than a doctor—she’s my mom’s advocate. Originally, Mom went to Dr. Whelan with a health issue that other doctors couldn’t solve. Some even discounted what she was saying. Not Dr. Whelan. She went down every avenue until they discovered the problem. And there was an easy treatment. I truly believe my mom is alive today because of the incredible care Dr. Whelan has given her. Whenever Mom has needed a referral, Dr. Whelan has handled it immediately. More than once, when she needed to be seen quickly but the referred doctor said it would take months to get an appointment, Dr. Whelan was on it in minutes. The next thing we knew, Mom had an appointment—within a week. She, too, responds to phone calls in a very timely manner, and there have been more occasions than I can count where Dr. Whelan called my mom after hours—between 6:00 and 8:00 PM—as a follow up or to see how… she was doing. When my dad died, Dr. Whelan called my mom to give her words of condolence. There have been times I accompanied my mom to one of her appointments with Dr. Whelan. Every single time, Dr. Whelan walked in, smiled, and asked my mom how she was doing. This is a doctor who HONESTLY cares about my mom. You can’t hide sincerity and compassion, and Dr. Whelan has both.

She's a wonderful doctor. She is a good listener and spends time with us. We never feel we are being rushed through. Her care of us is excellent - thorough and appropriate - taking our personal needs into consideration. We feel very fortunate to have her for our doctor.

Dr Whelan is an excellent Dr. Very personable and caring.

I have been a patient of Dr.,Whelan's for several years. She is the perfect physician for me. She is caring, really listens, takes my concerns seriously , answers my questions or refers me to someone who can. I am very happy with her care.

This doctor has no bedside manner. She is rude,curt and dismissive. She has not even the basic social graces. She acts like your bothering her when she calls you back. Doesn't warn you when she doing "not expected things during exam"I wonder why she even became a doctor she seems to hate people. Her jewelery is filthy. She is just a nasty lil woman. I won't be back.
