I wanted to see Dr. Carr because of all the good things my cousin had to say. It took months to get an appointment with her and I mean months. I went for my one and only app. With her and the time that I was there I just felt she was in a hurry she was sending me to have a procedure done and started to get up I had to ask her what the procedure was before she left and it was very short. Well it didn't work and instead of her calling me to let me know she ha her nurse call me. That was so bad she had no idea what she was tell me. It was she's sending you to get robotics when I asked her again she had to look it up. She was sending me to another surgeon.i asked the nurse why she wasn't doing my surgery shectold she was afraid I might have to much scar tissue. I had none where she would have been working. I can't believe that she didn't take a few min to deliver that information. She's a Doctor and a surgeon there is no excuse for what she did. I'm really lucky that another Doc. Gave me… a name of a surgeon and she was wonderful and her staff was fantastic it didn't matter what I asked they had an answer and made sure I understood everything. Not calling the patient to deliver that kind of news is very unprofessional and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I visited Dr. Carr probably 3 years ago due to elevated PSA. She recommended prostate biopsy, which terrified me. I put it off until a few months ago. It was Every bit as horrible as I thought. But there was cancer. Got CT scan and nuclear bone scan. OK, it's just the prostate. Had it removed by Dr. Claus Roerborn. It's a month and I feel as good as ever. I don't think you could find a better resume than Dr. Carr. Should have listened to her! Don't put it off!

If you expect to receive a proper diagnosis, involved in making decisions about treatment, having your questions answered, concerns heard, calls and e-mails returned and treated like a human being then don’t see this person or go to these clinics. You’ve been warned!

Dr. Carr & her nurse Karen literally saved my life. Without any prior experience with me, only the information Dr. Lightfoot had been able relay in a brief phone call, Dr. Carr adjusted her schedule to perform an emergency procedure on me. The first time I met Dr. Carr in person I was in the Baylor-Garland ER, having received multiple doses of pain meds, & obviously scared. She immediately put my mind at ease & clearly explained what was & wasn't going to happen that day. She saved my life.
