Dr. Ainun Haq, MD

I have only been to this dr twice and the first time I had to put my husband on the phone because I thought it was me the way she was talking to me, but nope! He can contest as he went to my last appointment and literally told me to run from the dr. She’s condescending, rude, yells, makes you question your intelligence, doesn’t listen, won’t diagnose, if you have migraine automatically thinks it’s covid, and tells you “keep wearing a mask” it’s 2024 let’s get over this lady. Was adamant that it was tested me and I laughed when it came back negative. Like lady I know my body and I know it’s a migraine look at my records and let’s do something about it but nope told me to go to urgent care for my migraine. Absolutely horrible. Run away from her. I feel bad for her staff having to work with her. She even told me on my first visit “I don’t know why they gave me you I am not accepting new patients” well geee that made me feel so good. Nope! RUN

Gone to her twice and even had my husband come just so he can be an advocate. He agrees she’s horrible and to run away from this dr. She’s condescending, she doesn’t listen, she asks a question and then interrupts you to ask another question. When you finally get a change to answer the question she re asked the same question. She refuses to read past Drs notes or notes from specialist. She yells she’s rude she has no bed side manor and questions your intelligence. I have made a complaint to the UMass patient advocate office and to the mass board of drs. No one she be treated this way.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Where do I even begin? She does a cursory job of everything! My partner is very nervous around doctors and Dr Haq did nothing to put her at ease. In fact, I watched the appointment unfold in horror. She doesn’t listen, she isn’t warm, she makes you feel like her time should be elsewhere. Rush, rush, rush. No bedside manner at all. She didn’t outwardly show any empathy or understanding. Her attention seemed to be elsewhere. When she did express anything it was very rote and at times seemed judgemental, arrogant, or condescending. There is no place for this in medicine. Not with patients. The breast exam was over before it started. She is not adept at follow up and is hard to reach. We switched to another primary care doctor thankfully. But you know what we found out recently? She never called regarding abnormal test results! It’s been months! Months of my partner not feeling well. I honestly can’t comprehend how she stays in practice.

I have been extremely impressed with the staff and efficiency at this location during my transition from another medical practice. Upon meeting with Dr. Haq she listened to my concerns and took time to read my medical record to make sure she was taking care of my present concerns. She did not stop there - she advised and made recommendations which were very well explained and easily understood. Thank you Dr. Haq!

I love Dr Haq. She listens to what I tell her and responds to what I say and doesn't fluff off what I tell her. Also, she is not adverse to natural remedies, which I truly appreciate. She also is sure to tell in more detail about how I can understand and know what is going on with my body. She doesn't rush me out and really takes the time to make me feel cared for by here. I moved about an hour away now, but because she is the first Dr that I truly appreciate, I am making the trek to go see her when I need to.

Horrible experience with Dr. Haq this week. I called with a severe sore throat, hoping for a same day appointment, but couldn't get one until the next morning. She was reluctant to order a throat culture even when I have a history of strep and am 25 weeks pregnant because I "didn't look sick". The rapid came back negative (usually does in my cases of strep), so she told me to hold off on antibiotics due to my pregnancy. The next day, I had to call HER to see if there were results. They couldn't find my sample. Blamed it on the lab, but I highly doubt that was the case. She told me just to start antibiotics in the meantime. Here I am, 50 hours after my culture, still waiting for results. Once again, I had to call them and am waiting for a call back. Absolutely horrible way to treat a patient, never mind one who is pregnant. I will be finding a new PCP asap.

I felt to write few lines for Dr Haq because of her sincerity to follow up with patients. She is friendly, she listens, answers questions, does not rush, explains with clarity to make sure patients is satisfied.

I've been going to Dr. Corbett for 25 years. He is a very good doctor. I have been seeing Doctor Haq for more than 2 years now. She is very thorough, gives sufficient time in the room to listen and answer questions. In my mind she is a very good physician I have ever had in the past.

Great Dr. and person. She takes the time to help you understand your issues and ease any concerns. She educates you at the same time and you never feel rushed. Very caring and attentive. Great all.
