I went to four surgeons before settling on him to do my hip replacement. I think he's the greatest, before, during and after and recommend him to everybody.

Dr. Nygaard, in my opinion, is one of the best orthopedic surgeons. His skill, bedside manner and knowledge are outstanding and his staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend him.

Dr Nygaard is amazing he replaced both hips at the same time i couldnt walk when i went in and its been 5 months now im walking and playing golf again people think you have to travel to the bay area to get a quality doctor i was one of them boy was i wrong i would recommend dr nygaard to anybody great surgeon a great staff great bed side manner he cares about his patients thank you dr nygaard for giving me my life back

Dr. Nygaard replaced my left hip in 2000. 13 years later and I can't even tell it was ever replaced - no pain, no problems, and my range of motion is incredible. I walk, hike, yoga, dance. ..yippee!. He is my all-time favorite doctor!!! He is kind and smart and I highly highly highly recommend him for any orthopedic needs you may have!

It's been 17 days sence surgery. I'm doing great,the pain of healing is nothing compard too the pain of the last year an a half. highly recomended Dr. Nygaard.
