Dr. Ajay K Chauhan, DO

Dr. Chauhan is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his patients and their families. He always educates his patients to make them less reliant on him. He did surgery on me 10 years ago, taught me how to properly take care of a chronic condition, and I have not had to see him for 8 years. My husband needed to see an ENT and I sent him to Dr. Chauhan even though it is a 30 mile drive because he is the best. My husband adores him too.

I have seen multiple ENTs and Dr Chauhan is by far one of the most skilled and passionate Surgeons I have met. He recently corrected my Deviated Septum, worked on every one of my sinus', and even repaired a hole that was in my septum. It was a huge surgery and he nailed it! I am only a week out and I am breathing better than ever before. Dr. Chauhan is kind, understanding, passionate, highly skilled, experienced, funny, and respectful. His staff (John) created a calming, fun, and personal experience every visit. If your looking for an ENT I would highly recommend Dr. Chauhans practice. I have zero complaints and only praises to give!

I was introduced to Dr. Chauhan by a friend. I had a painful ear ache. Dr. Chauhan explained that there was a build up of wax in my ear. It was so evident that he was a Dr. that was an expert because he has all the equipment he needs to care for his patients. I felt like a new person after Dr. Chauhan took care of my ear. I was really impressed with his kind, friendly manner in dealing with me. His office is very comfortable and inviting. I loved the soft beautiful music that is played in the waiting room. The receptionist, John, is so kind and welcoming and patient. I really am happy that I came to know Dr. Chauhan; he is a super doctor whom I would rate as A+! SMKabat

Dr. Chauhan was so thorough and caring. Talked to my daughter and made sure she understood and was comfortable. He always spends as much time as we need to address all our concerns.

I found the doctor friendly but far too many appointments without significant results. With no concern for cost to the patient (don't dare ask) he attempted 2 unsuccessful nasal endoscopies. Was charged $955 twice and camera only went in partially once. I had 5 appointments with Dr. Chauhan plus a CT Scan he ordered at St. Alexis Hospital which he had trouble getting and reading from their Imaging dept. I also had a hearing test by another associate in his office which I found comprehensive and accurate. My original reason to see Dr. Chauhan was to find out if I had nasal polyps. He reported I had a deviated septum which he offered to correct with surgery. During my 5th office visit I finally got an answer to my question about the polyps. "Yes you have some and I will remove them while I am in there". When I inquired about cost for this type of surgery he seemed offended and our conversation abruptly ended. At that point I chose not to pursue surgery.

I had a deviated septum which Dr. Chauhan performed surgery on and I am very happy with the results. He is a very caring person. He listens to all of your questions and answers them thoroughly. I drive one hour to see him. John his office staff is very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Chauhan.

I can only tell you about this doctor...not this office, as he was in another office here in the Elgin, IL area before moving to this office. But as a doctor specializing in Ear/nose/throat, Dr A.J. Chauhan, DO is a MAGNIFICENT doctor. He listens, has an amazing amount of knowledge, and s great bedside manner. In fact, I plan to go to him again, even though there are much closer doctors in that specialty. I want the best...that is Dr Chauhan!
