My wife was at this doctor for monitoring as we had recently moved and our previous RE was managing the FET and care. At her first appointment he was so rough with the ultrasound wand my wife yelped in pain and cried. She has had probably hundreds of ultrasounds previously and knew it shouldn't feel like that. He first dismissed her reaction, then upon examination he realized her anatomy was a bit different and he had approached it all wrong. He swore and apologized. After the FET he continuously asked the same questions over and over even though it should have been in her chart. At her 7 week ultrasound he told us that the heartrate (110) was low, how he had measured 3 other "7 weekers that morning and they were all in the 140s" and that the baby was measuring small. He told us that we should talk to our doctor, but if we were his patient, he'd be concerned. We went back for the 8 week appointment and the heart rate was great, but according to him the baby was measuring even… further behind and offered little to no reassurance. Almost making it seem like the pregnancy was doomed and we should start preparing ourselves for miscarriage. All the while, our RE was almost irate - saying the measurements for heartrate and size were all well within normal. We were finally able to get into our lovely wonderful OB in Columbus for the 9 week scan and confirmed everything looked PERFECT. We worried for 2 weeks for nothing. Adios RGI and Dr. Jain, we are glad to never ever have to see you again. It shouldn't be this way - try to remember that these women are human and not just your little science experiment - some compassion would go a long way.

My husband & I highly recommend Dr. Jain ! Firstly I’m pregnant ! And after 10 years of trying we couldn’t be more ecstatic! We had an extremely long journey to get to where we are today & that’s most importantly due to Dr Jain having hope and not giving up on us. After years of medication, tests, IUIs, and failed rounds of IVF with another doctor we took a break to emotionally & financially decide what would be are next step... We decided to switch to Dr Jain and had a consultation that was very informative & gave use hope to try IVF again with him & RGI If you are considering infertility treatment you should choose Dr Jain He is a very personable and caring physician that has great knowledge and skills to help you achieve your goal to get pregnant & start your family !

My experience at RGI with Dr. Jain was fantastic! I will admit that as a new patient negative reviews led me to believe that he wasn’t the best choice at the practice. However, in reality he should be your first choice. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, confident and straight forward. You always know your options, how viable they are and what he thinks is the best next step. He takes the time to answer your questions and is very personable. Dr. Jain is invested in his patients, is willing to call or text patients after hours, and genuinely feels any frustrations or celebrations with the patient. I have felt completely confident in his care and I can’t wait for the future he’s helped my husband and I build!

I will begin this by saying I have never doubted that Dr. Jain actually really wants to help us have a baby. His energy did make us feel positive in the beginning and he was enthusiastic to start treatment immediately which was invigorating. I have no doubt in his actual expertise and attention to dosages and labs in regards to IVF and IUIs. With that being said, he forgets the same important information so many times it is absurd and inexcusable. We've had so many awkward moments where we have gone over the same information repeatedly after having long discussions about the exact same thing at previous appointments and it is as though it is a new discovery. It feels like Groundhog's Day nearly every single time we go and we've been going to RGI for a year. I thought I was going here to get individualized attention to our case to give us the best chance for success. It really doesn't matter that I see my physician at every appointment if he doesn't even pay attention to what happened… at previous appointments. He has made treatment recommendations to me multiple times based on the wrong information because he is too busy and will not be bothered to glance at my chart for 10 seconds before discussing it with me. This is especially concerning because his approach is not collaborative. He believes he knows what is best... and he should, he is the fertility doctor, but he recommends things without knowing all relevant information. I want my doctor to tell me what is best, but I also want to know why we should or shouldn't do something because I live with the consequences of these decisions. He will spend very minimal time explaining anything if he does at all. I was never given treatment options based on success rates. He has been overly rosy about our chances of success from the beginning and acted so sure I'd so easily be pregnant early on and be moving on so fast not even wanting to discuss what was next until we were already there. He completely dismissed my cause of infertility by waving his hands in the air saying he "doesn't worry about endometriosis." I chose to trust his judgment in the beginning because he is the RE. We've spent an incredible amount of time, money, and emotional effort to be waved off as not a big deal and we still have nothing to show for it. His bedside manner is usually warm and wonderful. When it's good, it's great, but when it's bad it's awful. I've had enough appointments I've seen him on several bad days when he was clearly moody. During one of these appointments, when he was visibly angry, he did an abnormally aggressive ultrasound and ever since then I've been uncomfortable wondering what kind of a mood he's going to be in when he walks in the room. The body language and faces of staff and the resident told me how incredibly uncomfortable they all were. Almost every single nurse has left since I have been going to RGI. I deeply resent that I need his help for these reasons as I feel ORM is an even worse option. I hope Columbus gets more competition in the way of fertility clinics because patients have few options and both clinics have more patients than they can appropriately manage so they have no incentive to do anything differently. At the end of the day, I'm at RGI for their IVF lab as it is the best option in Columbus and put up with far less than is acceptable from the RE to gain access to their embryologists and the lab.

Only after several failed transfers and miscarriages did Dr. Jain start to become a little more sensitive and available. Similar to other comments, he often would not remember my medical history at first and say things like "well, if you had gotten pregnant on your own before but miscarried then I might recommend something different".. to which my jaw dropped and I say "that is exactly the case... I did get pregnant before and miscarried..". I could quote at least 5 different specific experiences like that but I think you get the point. The worst experience was probably also with his office (so more about RGI Westerville than him), where they accidentally sent me someone else's personal information about their egg retrieval... TWICE! I was so upset for those people whose personal information was violated. I am confident it was an honest mistake from the nurse/assistant but still what if I knew them or worked with them? (That said, we had an even worse experience with the other… fertility clinic in town at Ohio Reproductive Medicine as the office staff was just so unprofessional that it made RGI look insanely put together - so I would still take RGI over ORM). It is unfortunate but after looking around the Columbus area, I think Dr. Jain might be the best there is here. Once again, I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he became much more compassionate once we kept failing, but I just wish he started out that way.

I don’t even know where to begin.. Dr. Jain never knows who I am when he walks into the room and he never knows the plan of care. I realize he is extremely busy but maybe that needs to be addressed when he doesn’t even know what’s going on with you when he walks in your room. I got pregnant naturally but he wanted to continue to see me. My first ultrasound with him he said everything looked perfect. He brought me in for a second ultrasound to see the heartbeat and he said that the baby wasn’t measuring where it should be (five days behind schedule) and that the heartbeat wasn’t great (115bpm I called my actual OB after this appointment and they said that heartbeat was great) but THERE WAS A HEART BEAT and he immediately started suggesting a D&C so that I didn’t have to go through a miscarriage. He hands me a picture of my ultrasound then forgets he gave me a picture and then asks if I wanted a picture because most people don’t want one if they don’t think the pregnancy is going to be… viable.. I’m not sure why we are discussing a D&C while my baby still has a heartbeat. It was completely uncalled for and heartbreaking.. I am at a loss of words for the way we were treated and that will be my last appointment with him.
