After completing his residency at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital, Dr. Sastry spent an additional year of training in Baltimore completing a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction. This year focused on dealing with complex hip and knee reconstructive procedures including the direct anterior hip replacement. Currently, Dr. Sastry performs this procedure exclusively in the seacoast area. This operation allows the surgeon to perform the replacement without detaching the muscles around the hip which can lead to a faster recovery. It is so rewarding to see patients recover as quickly as they do with this procedure. The best medical care I have ever received. Dr.Sastry and his team were top notch in my hip replacement. Moreover, the patient management is unparalleled in my experience. Others told me that before my surgery. I’ve now joined that chorus.

Dr. Sastry is an excellent surgeon. Both of my knees are so much better after surgery than before. Dr. Sastry has an excellent bedside manner. The entire office is extremely efficient. I’m ready to get back out and do what I used to do 20 years ago.
