Dr. Akindele Kolade, MD

Dr. Kolade spends no time with the patient. All he does is push pills. My 16 was prescriped Xanex on a daily basis instead of figuring out why he needed it. Terrible doctor. We went to him for over a year and made no headway on finding help for my son.

Dr. Kolade has no respect for any of his patients. He is extremely lazy and doesn't want to take the time to help you. He is very unprofessional, very defensive and has an extremely bad temper. He is highly stressed out and is not willing to do anything at all that requires helping his patients. I've left his office crying on a number of occasions out of sheer frustration. His English is very poor. He has no bedside manners whatsoever. Informs each patient what their relationship with him should be which is basically very limited. You are not permitted to ask him if you can change medications because he then accuses you of either complaining too much or says that you're mixing him up and stressing him out. If you mention side effects of medications that he has prescribed, he won't help you to taper off of them. He asks "what's going on or how are things going" but when you start to answer him, if it is not positive, then he says "you're a complainer". He is not a good… listener. If he can't think of a medication to put you on, he gets very frustrated and angry. You feel that you cannot ask him anything for fear of him getting angrier. He's interested in just one thing, your money. I would never recommend this man, Dr. Kolade to any of my family or friends. Personally, I think the man is burned out and it would never be too soon for him to retire. Thank you for the opportunity to get this very important information out to those who are looking for a psychiatrist.

Centrally focused on making money, takes advantage of senior citizens, does not accept Medicare, but inferes that he does. Overall very pushy and misleading.
