I had been to this practice for years and had several instances when the doctors were very rude and sarcastic,I left the practice for a while and decided to give it another try, It was aweful, treated terribly, every answer to my questins were answered with hatefulness. I will never go back and will take my business out of town. The front desk staff is also unkind. apparently they don't know to treat people who are coming to them with a problem

Many years ago one of my daughters had a terribly painful ear infection. We were new in the area and didn't know any doctors but somehow landed with Dr. Deddens. He treated her on a Friday and asked me to bring her back in on Saturday morning so he could check her. I was so grateful and impressed that he offered to meet us at the office on Saturday out of concern for her. Our family has used him for all these years since. Now with several grandchildren he has put in tubes, done tonsillectomies, treated infections, tested/addressed concerns about hearing, cleaned out ears... I just wouldn't go anywhere else as long as he practices here.

I have observed DrDeddens both as a patient and as a caregiver of his patient and I find his treatment exemplary! He is most knowledgeable in his area of expertise and performs treatment in a manner of highest standards. His professionalism exceeds standards and his sincere caring is evident in everything he does , both in his treatment and interaction with his patient! I highly recommend him to anyone with medical problems ion the field of otolaryngology. As a healthcare professional myself, I appreciate his honesty, infection control and superb practice. He is the best and I trust him in treating my family members as well as myself. I would not go to anyone else!

Dr. Deddens saw me in the ER on Thanksgiving day and provided me with excellent care and attention. I hated to bother anyone on a holiday, but I was treated with utmost respect and taken care of quickly. He even called me later that evening to see how I was feeling and doing after the emergency surgery. How many doctors take time on a holiday to do this? That is amazing service and care!! I cannot thank him and the IMH staff enough for the awesome care I received. I then followed up a few days afterward in his office and was given the same level of professionalism and care by Dr. Deddens and his staff. I have been going to this practice ever since the early 80's. Glad to have an Otolaryngology group in Statesville like this!

Always friendly and personable,always listens to my problem and figures it out. Excellent staff and responds to call back Has seen 3 generations of my family. A great gentle surgeon excellent results. 25 years in statesville with excellent reputation.
