Dr. Herb Lee Wettreich, MD

Dr. Wetrich's office is a very professional and welcoming setting. His staff is friendly and thorough. My appointments were kept in a very timely manner. My family and I have been under Dr. Wetrich's care when needed for over 20 years. We have always been well cared for with good results. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

I saw dr Wettreich 3 years ago for breathing problem and lost of sense of smell. He told me everything was fine and that I permanently lost my sense of smell due to the virus infection. I was devastated! I decided to get a second opinion. I found out that my body developed allergies and I my nose was swollen inside. I never lost my sense of smell!!! Worst dr ever!!!

Dr. Wettreich and all his staff are very caring and professional. He listened to all my concerns and actually wanted to figure out what was going on. He answered my questions and explained things thoroughly. He took the time to call me and gave me hope that I will get better with treatment for vestibular migraines. After seeing so many doctors, I feel blessed to have found such a caring one that really wants to help.

Easy to talk with,explained in great detail,spent a sufficient amount of time with me. He has my complete trust and I would highly recommend him.

Seemed very thorough - did a scope to see if anything in throat area and also tested hearing because of ringing in the ear. No complaints here - very thorough and took all the time I needed to answer questions.

I have been quite frustrated and disappointed with the care I received from Dr. Wettreich. I am even more disappointed at his unwillingness to discount services for which I have had to pay another doctor to undo.Nearly every time I went to his office I had to have a complete hearing test done which seemed an unnecessary expense of time and money. Though we did take quite a bit of time at several of my visits to discuss various courses of treatment I always felt as though I was the one having to determine which was the proper course. I did not feel as though he was providing an educated professional recommendation. And, since each time I went in my situation got progressively worse I decide to see another ENT doctor.The second Dr. confirmed many of my feelings. He removed tubes that quite probably should have never been inserted. Each visit with this doctor my hearing steadily improved.Because of all of this I decided to ask Dr. Wettrech if he would discount the last $200 of treatment.… Mind you I and my insurance company have already paid many hundreds of dollars for treatment that was ineffective and which now seems to have been misguided from the start.I discussed the request with the office manager who told me she would discuss it with the Dr. and get back with me. The only thing I got in response was a threat to send my account to collections. Only after I took time off from work to go directly to the office again did Dr. Wettreich call and discuss my request. He, while cordial, was adamant that the courses of treatment were correct, even though each treatment made my situation worse and reversing the treatment has led to improvement.
