Dr. Alan Richard Forfar

I attended Dr. Forfar's dental surgery office for the last six months. The reason was to eliminate infection that spread to my three teeth area gums. So, three teeth were skillfully extracted. Two implants were professionally installed. Each and every my dental appointment, I was courteously taken care by Dr. Forfar; and, by his polite staff. Six months later, Dr. Forfar "returned" my happiness. After all, I will be able to crunch to favorite nuts! I would like to add one small, but extremely important fact - Dr. Forfar is an honest person, who is genuinely dedicated his skills into patients' betterment. Thank you Dr. Forfar.

I had a great experience with Dr. Forfar and his staff. The staff was professional, courteous and friendly and answered my questions. The center is super clean and well run - if felt reassuring to be there especially during this pandemic. Dr. Forfar spent time with me discussing my options and the procedure, and then handled it efficiently while checking in with me continually to make sure I was ok. I found him and his assistant genuine, caring and a pleasure to be around. I would encourage anyone needing really solid oral surgical care to go to Dr. Forfar. He knows what he's doing and provides excellent care!

I was in the process of losing all my teeth due to gum disease. I was referred to Dr Forfar by Dr Steve Biagini and his peridontist. Found out that my wisdom teeth infected the gums and caused this issue. I went to Dr Forfar and he inspected the wisdom teeth and advised me to have them removed. It took a few weeks for me to decide and on that critical day, Dr Forfar showed me the xrays and again advised me to have them removed. Within an hour, I went through the anasthesia process and he removed all four teeth. There was very little pain afterwards and he suggested an after treatment. My follow up visit to Dr Biagini was excellent. We thought that there would be several extractions, but due to the good work of all the docs, Dr Biagini assured me that I would most likely have all my teeth until I die if I continue good oral care. Dr Forfar helped me tremendously and did not charge too much for his services. Thank you Dr Forfar.

I had an infected tooth that needed attention immediately. I was recommended to Dr. Forfar by my new dentist and it turned out he was actually quite cheaper than my previous dentist was going to cost. My first contact was with Gaby his receptionist. She is the kind of front person every company wants and needs. She was friendly, understanding, polite and helpful when it came to scheduling. They are following protocol when it comes to the pandemic. They had me call first when I arrived and stay in my vehicle until they had a room ready. Everything was well organized. It felt exceptionally clean inside. I had no worries about that whatsoever. Nothing but a great atmosphere inside as well. If you desire an extremely personal touch in having Oral & Facial surgery, then please consider Dr. Forfar. I cannot say enough about his assistants. Michelle was patient with me when she would call to confirm appts and I would have questions. I never felt rushed off the phone or dismissed. She was… sincere in caring about how I felt before coming in for surgery. I was always treated with the utmost respect. Kamila genuinely cared about my well-being while in the office. The details spent on making sure their patients are comfortable is amazing. I was a hot mess, nervous and anxious but Dr. Forfar made it a smooth easy process. Dr. Forfar and staff were professional and caring. He allowed me to take deep breaths while showing patience. He even chatted with me for a bit. He took the time with me and was compassionate to my needs. And I did not feel any pain from the injections as he was very gentle. He is skilled, precise and thorough. He made this first implant journey of mine less painful than expected. Each step was explained and follow up has been outstanding. To say my visits thus far have been anything but exceptional would be understated. When it came to payment, they did ask me to pay half of my bill up front, but as soon as my insurance claim was processed, I was refunded my over payment immediately with a check in the mail. I will need one more implant after this one and I will see Dr. Forfar. I wholeheartedly recommend him! They will take excellent care of you! I will not let anyone other than him complete this process for me. I will continue to recommend loved ones and anyone who is looking for an oral surgeon to Dr. Alan Forfar. Sincerely, Sarah Saavedra

I was referred to Dr. Fofar from my current dentist as I needed a tooth extracted and a dental implant. Pricing was outrageous!!! I am a retired person without dental insurance and had to pay out of my pocket. I checked on line and with another dentist after paying Dr. Forfar to get an approximate cost for the same procedure. In both cases the price was thousands of $$$ less than my cost. So much for trusting my regular dentist. Also, the staff is less than friendly or helpful. Live and learn. I also understand that Dr. Forfar has just "disappeared" from his practice. On the day I was due for a follow-up appointment I received a call from his office saying that Dr. Forfar had just quit his own practice. His staff was even caught completely off guard and didn't know where he was. My recommendation is to stay clear of this practice or any practice where Dr. Forfar may be involved.

Uncaring, Arrogant and a complete A**hole guy. If you care for yourself look for some other doctor. Over priced as well.

I was treated badly by the staff when scheduling an appointment. Service is very bad and uncaring. I reported this to my insurance company and they have taken note. I totally agree to the low ratings given by other patients. Don't go. Find another oral surgeon.

I have never been treated as poorly as I have at this office. Dr. Forfar acted like he was the most important person in the room and that he was doing me a favor by being in my presence. The staff was almost pure evil. I called and was trying to ask questions... they were mean and acted like I was out of line. I was upset and told them that i didn't like their tone... she pulled the phone from her ear and wouldn't talk to me. They made my daughter wait for 2 weeks for a response. Then they WAY OVER CHARGED!!! This is the worst practice in the world. Avoid at all costs! Not kidding. Terrible people.

VERY EXPENSIVE! I do not have insurance but use Dental Plans.com . The office was not even aware that they were part of the plan! They had to call dentalplans.com to verify. Prices are negotiated between doctor and dentalplans.com and are pre-set and easily available through the website. I was charged more than pre-set prices and had to point out to staff that prices were incorrect and needed to be adjusted! I would have overpaid by $150. The staff member at the front desk was very rude and annoyed with me for questioning the prices. Would not go back...

Unfriendly Judgmental Argumentative Poor Attention To Detail Avoid Staff is not responsive. my fsa is going to deny my claim because I am still waiting for Forfar's staff to process!
