Dr. Mandelberg performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes; he was courteous, very professional, with a nice personality and a good bedside manner. No complaints, other than the occasionally long waits.

I have been seeing Dr. Mandelberg since 1974. He is the best! I have referred many friends to the Center and they all rave about him, as well. He is professional, caring, VERY thorough with a kind and gentle demeanor that puts you at ease throughout the exam. As my eyes have changed over the years, Dr. Mandelbrrg has always made sure to check for subtle changes which might be of concern. He explains the results of any test with a calm confidence that puts any patient at ease. I always know when I go for my yearly exam, that it will be painless and productive. I have been seeing Dr Mandelberg for many years. Two years ago I noted that the vision in my right eye had suddenly degraded and scheduled an appointment with him. Once he looked into my right eye, he immediately sent me to a retina specialist and I began getting my vision back. After two years of treatment for a branch ocular occlusion, I needed to have cataract surgery. Dr. Mandelberg scheduled my surgery to make sure I had the greatest chance for success and used the method that most reduced my exposure to risking my vision. The surgery was successful.

I had cataract surgery and I chose Monovision and it was the best decision to have had Dr. Mandelberg perform it. He did a perfect job, I am able to read fine print and read the street signs at a distance. I'm so happy because your sight is precious and to be able to have it back to normal is priceless!!! thank you so much DR MANDELBERG!!

I had r-k and hex surgery on my rt eye years ago which posed extreme difficulty for cataract surgery. I now have 20/20 vision and couldn't be more pleased thanks to Dr Mandelberg.

A couple weeks ago I had cataract surgery. Sure, the possibility of losing whatever vision remained in my bad eye was very slight, but it was a worry. Dr. Mandelberg and his staff were caring, very attentive, and the entire experience was better than I could've hoped for. I'd been misdiagnosed elsewhere, which is why I sought out Dr. Mandelberg to begin with. For the first time in years, I can now SEE. Truly amazing.

Dr. Mandelberg has been my Ophthalmologist since 1998 and could never been grateful enough to the person who referred me to him. I had an acute case of Blepharitis ready to become chronic as 2 other doctors had been treating with different antibiotics with no good results. Dr. Mandelberg made the diagnosis in less than two minutes and asked me to use hot compreses on my eyes. NO ANTIBIOTICS! The next day I had no symptoms but needed to maintain the treatment for several weeks. From that moment I kept going to his office for my annual checkups. Since I also had a heavy astigmatism an hyperopia he advised me against regular laser surgery but the placement of toric lenses during a cataract surgery. Total success! I tossed my 7+ Dyop. cylindrical glasses and only were glasses to read. I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Madelberg and recommend him without hesitation for his professionalism, knowledge, and his ethics. He could have done a surgery to partially improve my vision several years ago,… instead he advised me to wait for the industry to develop the appropriate toric lens. When that happened he told me about it and with the success of my surgery I'm one of his thrilled patients. On top of all of his immense knowledge and superb competence, Dr. Mandelberg is a down-to-earth person; he always ask me about my work or the hobbies I have.

I have been going to Dr. Mandelberg for decades and he and his entire staff are so up-to-date on treatments and surgical procedures Plus, their kindness and extreme patience when explaining things to me are invaluable.
