Glaucoma Operation by Dr. Robin was NOT successful; intraocular pressure (IOP) worst now with extreme low pressure, wish I never went to Dr. Robin.

Dr Robin spent so much time explaining my problems in detail, answering all my questions, in terms I could understand. His staff was courteous and caring. He did surgery on my eye and was absolutely wonderful.

After seeing another eye doctor who wasn't sure how to treat my normal pressure glaucoma I was finally referred to Dr. Robin. I have the highest praise for Dr. Robin and his entire staff. Not only did he know exactly how to treat my glaucoma, but he explained my medical condition to me in a way I could understand and spent time answering my questions. His entire staff is very pleasant and efficient. I was at his office all day having pressure readings taken every hour and Dr. Robin did every pressure reading himself and I never waited more than 5 minutes.

My son, 16, went to see Dr. Robin and he was greeted with news that he had serious eye problems (glaucoma, macular degeneration) and required immediate treatment. However, things didnt seem quite right b/c his eye pressure at the appointment was fine and his visual field had a minor blemish that could be explained by an innaccuraccy. Dr. Robin felt that due to his family history (I have glaucoma) that he should be seen once a month and given expensive medication and treatments without performing a second visual field. Well, I decided to get a second, third, and fourth opinion and each doctor has stated with 100% certainty that my son does not have eye problems and requires no treatment. In fact, Dr. Robin even managed to screw up his prescription. Dr. Robin is a 1st rate quack and you should only go to him if sipping hot chocolate (it was good) is more important than getting the correct diagnosis.
