Dr. Alan Keith Rogers

There is no better doctor than this man. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Much to busy to give the care you need. Should leave breaks in his day for loyal patients to his practice. The girls he uses for assistants are not good at all....

I think he is a joke! If he really cared about the well being pf his patients he wpuld come in as scheduled and not reschedule month after month cause he feels like it or wants to take a vacation! The whole practice went to crap when he took over and Dr Martain left!

Over books but is a caring, patient listener.

Exceptional Dr I trusted for the past 29 years . Feel very honored to have this excellent physician available to take care of me as we grow old together.

After 16 years with my former I found myself having to look for a new PcP. After a medical emergency landed me in the hospital, I had to select a new PcP before being discharged for follow-up care. I selected Dr. Rogers, based on a referral from a friend. Although my initial appointment was set up quickly with his Nurse Practitioner, Marie McDermott, I was not able to actually meet with Dr. Rogers until January... three full months after my first contact. I understood this, as doctors - particularly good ones - are busy. I started with a 45 minute waiting room wait EACH visit. I went to the office three times in the span of three weeks because the medication I was put on required close monitoring. ALL THREE TIMES there was difficulty with communication or outright miscommunication between the person I just saw in the back of the office/lab and the person at the front desk. They didn't know if I was supposed to come back, what I was supposed to come back for what dose of medication I… should be on, etc... and had to ALL THREE TIMES send someone to the back to ask the NP what was the next step. I attribute all of these instances to the volume of patients this office sees. While I am certain Dr. Rogers is a competent and skilled doctor, and I had no problems with his staff per se, I do not have confidence that the procedures/policies that are employed at his office are in my best interest. Flat out, I perceive they are overwhelmed with patients and do not have the capacity at this time to provide a level of care that I am comfortable with. I am concerned that the communication problems that exist there are a potential patient safety risk, and for that reason, I am looking for another PcP.

Prior to her death, Doctor Rodgers was my mothers primary care doctor for 17 years. His so called "care" consisted of the most minimal investment of time and energy, usually prescribing addictive medications that reduced her quality of life and created an additional burden for her to endure. It was clear to my family, that his concern for my mother was extremely shallow and superficial. Sadly, before her death, during a time when she needed "her doctor," Rogers shut off all contact with my mother. My brother attempted to visit him at his clinic to update him on my mother medical condition. Rogers refused to meet with my brother. When my mother passed away, Rogers never called our family or even sent a condolence card. This man is a disgrace to his profession. Unfortunately, I fear that doctor's like Rogers, who grotesquely lack compassion and are woefully disconnected from their patients condition,have become the norm in our country.

Dr. Rogers has been my Dr. for over 18 years and he is the Best! I have recommended him to my family and friends. Dr. Rogers was recommened to me by my Dr. who retired~how great was this!!! It is amazing how many people I know that go to him! Dr. Rogers listens to me and exams me and takes excellent care of my health needs. He saved my life by encouraging me to get a hysterectomy 6 years ago after a D&C and so glad I did as they found cancer in my uteriun wall after I had many tests prior showing nothing. Thank God I listened to him and had the surgey ~that is when they found the cancer!Thank God after a catscan the cancer did not spread. I will always be thankful to him. Now I have sciatic problems and Arthritis and he takes care of me. His bedside manner is wonderful and it's also a blessing he has a great sense of humor when appropriate. I leave his office feeling good and know he cares about my health.If anyone needs an excellent Dr. then start up with Dr.Rogers~you will be so… glad you did!

Dr. Rogers has been my primary doctor for over 10 years. He is always attentive, spends time listening and has wonderful bed side and follow up care skills. He has been encouraging and supportive, as well as honest and pointedly blunt when necessary. A wonderful doctor!
