Dr. Alan Demuth Ross, MD

I've been a patient for many years, the staff if generally caring and the Dr. Has always taken the time to listen to my concerns. He has a great sense of humor, and you never wait long.

My first appointment with Dr. Ross was today and I feel confident he has a direction for my care. I decided to write a review because of negative comments about his bedside manner. I found him to be very likable with an a very nice bedside manner and I’m looking forward to my future pain management appointments. His staff were very nice people and the office was very pleasant. I waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting room and less than 5 more for the doctor. The only thing I didn’t know before I arrived is that the office is fragrance free.

Dr Ross is a very intelligent doctor knows what he is doing.but could use some lessons in bedside manners and listening tof his patients and not push him them out the door like they were cattle never has time to listen or to even make next appoitment

Dr. Ross is very nice until he feels threaten or overstepped by other doctors. That is when you will see that his EGO takes control of his professionalism and becomes a bit nasty. His listening skills could use some improvement as well. Again this ego of his outweighs anything else even listening to his patients' before speaking over them. His staff carries his ego and control attributes as it almost appears as if they make the decision whether or not to book the appointment based on their mood that day. The staff (or one in particular) has very poor phone manners and really just comes off snooty. As for this being a place that helps people who are in pain they certainly know how to irritate and alienate their patients. I will say that if you take these parts away they do alright. Dr. Ross is very intelligent and doesn't appear to be afraid of a medical challenge. The lady who checks you out is always very pleasant.

Very thorough, constantly trying new ideas. Love his staff!!

Dr. Ross is an extremely compassionate man. He's not sympathetic, but totally empathetic - which I believe helps you get better faster. When I have anything to discuss with him, he listens. He' #1 in my book!!
