Dr. Mark Jay Bucksbaum, MD

I give a one because there is nothing lower. It would take a book to describe how this guy and his entire staff is. I was sent to him because my gp can no longer prescribe the hydro I need for my chronic back pain. Bucksbaum puts me on a Butrans patch that is another form of methadone. Every time I had to replace it I went through terrible dt's including suicidal desires. He never once replied to messages sent through the health portal. The only benefit I got was from the massage therapist who tried to sell me an eight hundred dollar medical devise every time I saw her.

Doctor Bucksbaum is a rude mean insulting human being and has no business being a doctor. He walks out while you are in the middle of talking. Said he doesn't have time to deal with me. I try to go out if my way to be kind and it doesn't matter. He should be fired immediately. He has no compassion for human beings. Worst doctor and person I have ever dealt with!!!!!

This was by far the worst doctor I have ever visited. He was supposed to do a hip injection, barely looked at my hip, stated that it was "too large an area" (referring to my weight) and suggested my tight jeans were causing my hip pain. I was wearing loose sweats. The next visit, he barely looked at me, spoke over me and walked out of the office while I was still asking questions about drug interactions. Also, referred to me as a "6" (my pain level) rather than my name, and threw me into the same category as all "6's", not taking into consideration that people all rate their pain differently. I have since learned that most overestimate, while I underestimate. He was rude, disrespectful, insulting and unprofessional. I have since received hip injections, from another more intelligent, professional, and respectful doctor, in my "large areas" and they have helped immensely.
