Dr Alan Swayze was the best Orthoprdic Doctor I have ever known. He was such a good and outstanding person. But he told you exactly what to expect. And was always there for you before,during and follow up. He just truly cared about his patients. He was the best,the one and only!!! God Bless and know I will miss you so much. Thank you for taking care of me all these years!!!

I had an extensive arm injury and Dr. Swayze performed surgery to put it back together. I never felt uncomfortable going to any of my follow up visits, I actually looked forward to them. He acted more like a real person than most Doctors. He has a great disposition. He took the time to explain whatever I did not understand. I will recommend this Doctor to everyone. Most Doctors spend as little time with you as possible (and believe me I have been to a lot). He is a great Doctor and I am blessed that I was referred to him by the hospital. I will continue to use this Doctor in the future.The only negative thing that I would say about my situation is the time I had to wait for an appointment after leaving the hospital. I went to the hospital on a Wednesday and when I called the Doctors office, I was told that I had to wait until the following Monday before I could schedule an appointment with Dr. Swayze. The reason I was given is that my injury needed time for the swelling to go… down. That may be the case but I was in sever pain waiting for my appointment.

I really like Dr. Swayze, but I don t appreciate making an appointment and having to wait an hour to be seen. I have to get back to work. I cannot schedule the day off for an appointment. Patients time should be just as important as the doctors time. It is very inconsiderate having people wait. Why make an appointment?

I love this dr. He is always so nice and sweet and so caring, I hope to out-live this dr. cause I know I will need him again with all my arthritis.
