Dr. Alan V Tepp, PhD

I wanted to share my story with you. I'm in a nightmarish custody case for my sons and I want to warn anyone who might encounter this man. He's unqualified, malicious, and may have memory impairment or dementia. He shouldn't be practicing medicine. He didn't listen to anything I said and he asked each question 3-7 times in his forensic work and seemed fixated on me my elite Dr in his profession and my medicine instead of focusing on a comprehensive assessment he forgets everything so competitive with other intelligent doctors and professionals. I doubt he should have a medical license and I hope he isn't involved in something worse. I wouldn't trust Dr. Tepp with my sons for anything. Please be cautious if you ever come across him. Our loved ones' safety should always come first.

Dr Tepp has been our parental coordinator for 5 years. I am very disappointed with how he has chosen to handle our co-parenting situation. I chose him based on his educational background. Things seem to start out ok but then my sons mother started to book sessions with him separately from our sessions together. This was not supposed to happen according to an agreement we had. When questioned about this, Dr Tepp became angry (?) and demanded that he knew best and we were not to question his authority. Can you imagine a doctor acting like this? He seems to have a "God" complex. After over a year of seeing my son's mom only in sessions, it became clear that he was bias toward one parent (probably because this is where most of his $$ was coming from) and, most importantly, he was NOT acting in the best interest of my less then 6 year old son which is exactly the reason we hired him. While he has some knowledge in child psychology, he has ZERO interest in fairness and fathers… rights. He has made very damaging and inappropriate remarks in sessions and basically has encouraged NONCOMMUNICATION in our co-parenting situation rather then encouraging us to roll up our sleeves and work on communication, cooperating together, and co-parenting for our sons sake. If you want to try to get along with your x partner and you want the best for your children as far as encouraging communication and fairness, and you want a nonbiased mediator, I would NOT recommend Dr Tepp. I am writing this review so that other single parents trying to co-parent and do the best they can for their children do not fall prey to this expensive and bias doctor.

Great until the going gets tough, Told us to let our son keep smoking pot until it got bad then totally abandoned us. Thanks so much Dr, Tepp for quitting when it gets real.

Mental health should be treated and cared for in a very serious manner. Do not trust him with your loved one's or your own mental health. His "care" is dangerous due to his negligence. Absolutely horrendous "doctor"

Dr. Tepp is an outstanding psychologist who has helped me and my family for years. The poor review above is not at all reflective of his expertise, compassion, kindness, and helpfulness. He is the single best psychologist I have ever encountered, and I am confident that this is the consensus of the thousands of patients that have seen him.
