Dr. Valadie called me at home today. It is indeed another example of his responsiveness, thoroughness and compassion. Unfortunately, over my 77 years I’ve had the far too much experience with doctors; however, he is truly an extraordinary one with a personality and manner that naturally projects competence, experience, interest, level headedness, and real concern for his patient’s wellbeing. You’ll find no better doctor.

Dr. Valadie is amazing! I am 59 and had to have both of my hips replaced. He gave me my (pain free) life back!

Dr Valadie did a total hip on 5 years ago. I swore then if ever I needed an orthopedic surgeon I would beat a path to his door. This time it was a total knee. Knowing how painful these surgeries can be I waited as long as I could. After years of suffering I begged him to do the operation asap. When i woke up I was pain free for the first time in 20 years. Sorry I waited so long. I know that painless knee replacements are few and far between. I do think his knowledge and experience had something to do with it. Either that or I am a tough ol' codger. He is truly the best surgeon that I have ever had.

Dr. Valadie replaced both of my wife’s knees (at the same time) four years ago and both of my knees within the last four months. Total satisfaction in both cases, quick recovery, minimal pain, only faint scars, back in full service within a month of operations. Not only is he a phenomenal orthopedic surgeon, he is one heck of a nice guy. Very patient oriented and actively concerned in their well being. If you need a knee replaced, stop looking, Dr Valadie is your man, I promise you won’t find anyone as good let alone better. Believe me, he and his team are the absolute best

Had a partial knee replacement 2 weeks ago. This was a walk in the park compared to my other knee done 8 years past. Walked out of my Outpatient Surgery using a walker which I seldom used, and never the cane. I did not need them. Pain? Basically pain free. Had a 2 once as my high pain on a 0 to 10 pain scale which was quickly reduced to a 0 with a pain pill. I am totally amazed as to how well this has gone.

Dr. Valadie is an excellent surgeon, but there is also another reason for his success. He turns away patients with any type of medical problems other than the one you're seeing him for. My first visit he was very personable and friendly. I am overweight and he told me I had to lose 40 lbs. before he would touch me. I then returned to my primary who gave me a diet to follow (which i did) but the weight didnt come off. When i went for my follow up with Dr. Valadie he was very curt (almost rude) to me. I asked about other possible options for my problem and he said "I'm a surgeon. That's what I do.". If you are healthy with no possible risk factors, by all means go to him. He's a good surgeon. But if you're overweight, have high blood pressure or any other health issue, don't waste your time. His #1 concern is his bragging rights, not helping patients

Dr. Valadie came highly recommended by the CEO at the hospital where he practices. I traveled over an hour to his office since he reputation for quality, professionalism and expertise on knee operations was so well recognized. As evidence of this expertise the nursing staff in the hospital OR and on the orthopedic floor all said he is the surgeon they would go to for a knee operation. They would know first hand his surgical results. His office staff and physician assistant are extremely professional and attentive. Dr. Valadie has an excellent bedside manner, is very well trained and specializes in knee surgery. One of his most noticeable traits is listening. He asks questions, solicits patient information and is very personable. My surgical results and recovery have been very good. Even my physical therapist noted how well I progressed during the rehabilitation process (since I live an hour away I did not go to the office PT department so this opinion is very unbiased). I have… recommended his name to several of my friends who are contemplating knee surgery. Another good friend of mine had the exact same procedure (total knee replacement) that I had and experienced the same level of professionalism, courtesy and positive surgical results.

Dr Valadie, in addition to being a one of a kind Surgeon, is a caring Physician. He is patient, answers all questions and never makes you feel rushed.

As the son of a doctor and customer service professional, I can say Dr. Valadie, his staff, and Blake Medical Center are excellent in the total package. Going into surgery, I was totally at ease that everyone one looking out for what was best for me.
