Dr. Alana Margaret Burns, MD

Dr. Alana Burns is an Atlanta native who joined Kids & Teens Primary Healthcare in 2021. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College and earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Burns then completed her pediatric residency at Emory University School of Medicine. She loves caring for patients from birth through late adolescence and, in addition to routine well checks and sick visits, has special interests in lactation consultation, healthy lifestyle promotion, and teen health.At Kids & Teens Primary Healthcare, Dr. Burns provides comprehensive, age-appropriate care for young people up to 21 years old. She is committed to delivering quality medical services in a compassionate, family-centered environment.
