Dr. Albert B Horn, MD

Hmmph. Was a patient for years and one would think a neurologist would catch Stiff Person Syndrome after so many years, but alas, this was not the case. Maybe save the difficult cases for Morledge.

He took care of my mother; she loved him. He's a bit old fashioned; he neglects to explain things to family members. The nurses (most of them) could not explain things either. I wished I had gotten a better idea of what to expect from my mom having the stroke. I felt like the time at the rehab did as much as could be done. I don't think the doctor could have done any better a job than was done.

I went to St David's Medical center (the central one) because I fainted. I saw a PA; she explained NOTHING to me. She sent me to Dr. Horn. Well he no longer practices. So I got sent to a doctor and I could not understand her at all. I don't think she answered my questions because she was way to busy trying to work on a computer than answer my questions. She's from Russia or some other country that doesn't care about common courtesy or respect or maybe courtesy

Overall, Dr. Horn is a good doctor. He is brilliant and can figure anything out. His telephone system is hard to navigate, but if you do get to a place where you can leave a message, then the staff will answer back soon. Dr. Horn retired his office practice which is bad because there are only a few good neurologists in Austin. It's sad actually.

Dr. Albert Horn III is an excellent doctor who spends the proper amount of time obtaining the information required to handle your case. He knows his patients and asks the proper questions. He is very professional.
