Dr. Al pays attention and addresses any current health concerns while also heading off potential future health issues.

Years ago this doc was A+ but at a point there was a radical change. Do not expect phone messages to necessarily ever be returned, and portal messages are hit and miss. Do not expect anything more than an annual wellness check through mostly only bloodwork. Will gladly make referrals, however.

I’ve posted my review twice and this app/website will not let me select a ‘wait time’ of 5 minutes. My post is person who has been seeing Dr Mosqueda for past 16 years after relocating to San Antonio TX, posted on May 24, 2020. Dr Albert Mosqueda has been my primary care/Internal Medicine physician since I relocated to San Antonio 16 years ago. I’ve found him to be the best! Not only does he tend to my medical conditions, but he also educates me by providing web links on my Patient Summary Report which enables me to ‘get smart’ on the conditions for which I am being treated. Dr Mosqueda is easy to talk to, he breaks things down to my level of understanding. Whenever needed, Dr Mosqueda has provided referrals for specialty care. These doctors are also the best! Dr Mosqueda’s office is a place where your time is as valuable as his. Appointments are always prompt, and your care is not rushed. He has an excellent staff in Valerie and Tanya, his Medical Assistants. They are welcoming and very efficient. They go over and above to take care of your needs. With use of the Patient Portal, your requests and questions are promptly answered. The ladies who work the main reception area and in… records are awesome. Tanya Martinez and Rita Harper remember you by name at each visit and make you feel welcome. Ms Maricela Gonzalez who runs the Lab has been there since I started 16 years ago. I've been trying to schedule an appointment for a week, and every time I get an answering machine or answering service, and never received a callback. I called and got through today only to be told that the Dr. is not accepting new patients even though the website says he is.
