Dr. Alberto Cadena, MD

New patient attempting to be seen by a GYN physician. I arrived for my appt. but was greet by a receptionist advising me Dr. Alberto Cadena canceled my appt. 20 mins prior to my appt. I checked my call log and Dr. Cadena's office called 20 mins prior to scheduled appt time to cancel. I've never encountered such a disregard for patient care in my life. I know what a good "level of care" look like. I wouldn't refer nor seek medical attention from Alberto Cadena or anyone else in that practice based on his inability to properly handle the situation. They should have accommodated the appt. based of his inability to meet the prior commitment to see a New Patient. I will share this encounter everywhere. I'm trying to see if the FL Medical Review Board will take my complaint.

He’s a negligent Dr. Worst Dr ever

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. Not a good impression on the Doctor nor the entire office. I do NOT want to go there and do NOT recommend others if there front office is some indication of quality and service patients should expect. I called to make an appointment and was treated very rudely by a loud insensitive and unprofessional receptionist who when I asked to make an annual appointment told me that the only thing the Doctor does is Pap smear and breast exam and if I want anything else she and the doctor do not want my business. The receptionist kept on interrupting and raising her voice. I CHOOSE to take my business somewhere else. And, I want the Doctors in that office know how they are represented and being perceived by potential customers.

I had an unusual reaction to my copper IUD and Dr. Cadena called me DAILY to check on me. My visits are never dreaded. He listens intently, offers recommendations, and explains everything in detail for me to make an informed decision. I've never felt rushed or like I had a stupid question. It is obvious he truly cares for his patients' mental care as well as physical care. He makes me feel like I'm his only patient and most important one!
