Aldo Mendez Ruiz, MD

Aldo Mendez Ruiz, MD, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in vascular and interventional neurology. He cares for adults with a wide range of cerebrovascular conditions, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, carotid artery disease, arteriovenous malformations, and other complex disorders affecting the blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord. Dr. Mendez Ruiz earned his medical degree with honors from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and fellowships in vascular neurology and interventional neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
