Do not use this “doctor”. Her bedside manner is terrible and she never made me feel like she really cared about me at all. Every appointment was text book. Questions are asked by her. Check baby’s heart beat. “Anymore questions?” Leave. She had her staff call me after my FIRST official ultrasound saying to prepare for a csection bc the baby was measuring more than my current gestation stage. Fast forward to 37 weeks I went to the hospital to be checked out. Could have been having Braxton Hicks, I was a FTM so I didn’t know what was happening. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT HOME. there were no issues, my water never broke, she told the nurse (when she called her) to induce me...FOR WHAT?! (Of course I say all of this in hind sight now that I’m educated on the matter compared to when this happened) i of course wasn’t progressing...she comes in hours later to break my water. Worst pain ever. she gives me an epidural. No progress. I end up having a csection. I’m an 110% sure she is the reason for… it. My baby wasn’t ready and she forced him out. SHE NEVER EVEN CAME TO MY ROOM AFTER THE SURGERY. I didn’t see her til the next day, mid afternoon. And when I did see her there was no congrats or anything. She also refused to refer me to a physio/physical therapist 3 months PP when I had legit concerns to see one. Her nurse heather then proceeded to tell me I don’t need to see one and it’s only for people with injuries...of course not knowing I’m a massage therapist and know way more about the human body than she may have realized. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO MY WORST ENEMY.

It's now 15 years later and I am still scared by this woman, she was my very first OBGYN visit and I only went to her one time. Not only did she use a humongous METAL speculum for my 15 year old VIRGIN vagina she was extremely forceful and when I cried and begged her to stop and take it out she simply wouldn't, I left with blood in my underwear. Not only did she violate me she then called BOTH of my parents into her office to tell them that " I had issues" I think she did that to see if I had told them what happen to me. I didn't say anything because at the time I didn't know what she had done to me was WRONG!!! Being a 15 year old virgin I had never experienced a OBGYN appointment before so I wasn't sure if that was normal. I just knew I felt violated and dirty after visiting with her. My next OBGYN appointment let me know that the first one with Dr. Alecia Townsend was not normal. 10 years later I finally found the courage to tell my mother about what happened to me on that day… however so much time had passed it was simply nothing she could do about it I guess. Now being 31 years old I want to speak out because the thoughts of her violating me simply will not go away. If you have virgin daughters DO NOT TAKE THEM TO HER. I don't know if I'm the only one she has done this to however she was too comfortable doing that to me and the fact that she brought both my parents into the office weeks later lets me know SHE KNOWS she was wrong. I just had to tell my truth so that I can finally let it go and move forward.

She is personable and direct. Explains everything to you.

Dr. Davis is very unprofessional, aloof and inhumane. She was a Gyn consult for me at Clear Lake Medical hospital. She was extremely rough during my examination and misdiagnosed me. I would not want anyone to be s victim of this person. If she is chosen as a consult for you, PLEASE refuse Dr. Davis and request to have another Dr. instead of her.

She was not friendly at all. I had vaginal tears and she treated me for a yeast infection. She did not really make face contact with me. She treated me like a "woman of the night" when I described my symptoms. She asked questions but reacted negatively when I told her that I could not remember when I had a procedure done. She also accused me of not knowing if I had a pap when I told her I had one the same year with the same clinic but different doctor. Do not see this chick.

Arrived with potential post menopausal symptoms or possible urinary tract or kidney infection. The physician entered the room and then began to complete the online questions that perhaps the nurse left blank. She entered data mostly, read the notes and shared that I need an ultrasound and then a uterine biopsy. She rarely looked away from the PC and did not have a discussion or dialog regarding the why's and if's and etc. I found her to be somewhat uncaring and inconsiderate. They had no patients in this new facility so spending 5 minutes with some dialog would have been considerate. Additionally, my symptoms could be consistent with a bladder or kidney infection and I assumed that the urine sample they took would have been tested. However, when I phoned back I was told the urine sample was thrown out. So I shared that I would be back to provide another sample to be tested and was told that I need to meet with a PCP in their Kelsey Seabold group and they'd perform the test. … After emailing back and forth it is clear that she does not believe that my care is important enough to be thorough and would prefer to pass the buck and/or create additional revenue for their business while wasting my time and money. Choose another OB/GYN, she needs additional coaching and training.

She rolled her eyes at me three times when I tried to explain to her that I enjoy taking my basal temp, and then INSISTED that I stop doing it. I will NOT return.

While the front desk staff can be a bit grumpy, her nurse is fantastic and always makes me feel welcome. The doctor is very even keel and honest with me. She took the time to discuss my chances of a VBAC along with the possible risks. I am glad that I am using her for my second pregnancy.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. Doctor does not understand non-typical, textbook pregnancy patients. Doctor in examination room no more than 2 minutes. Average wait time in waiting room AND examination room is 15-30 minutes for BOTH! Not worth your time or money.
