Dr. Alejandro Rafael Rodriguez, MD

We had a very high-risk pregnancy which required many highly technical procedures from week 16 onwards to delivery, which required weekly visits to either see Dr. Rodriguez or for ultrasounds, so we had a lot of personal interaction with this physician. He is, unequivocally, one of the most competent, knowledgeable and caring professionals we have ever dealt with, anywhere. He, and his medical team, were directly responsible for a successful delivery. To say he went above-and-beyond is an understatement. He would routinely check in on us, even when we were there just for ultrasounds. He even called on a weekend to check on us, prior to a procedure, to see if we had any questions or concerns. He always thoroughly explained things to us before and after each procedure. After the delivery, we spent several weeks in the NICU, and Dr. Rodriguez (and members of his team) came in to check on us, to see the baby, and to make sure everything was going well. Thank you, thank you Dr. Rodriguez!

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Rodriguez. He is knowledgeable, experienced, above all compassionate and was a great comfort to have on our complicated triplet pregnancy. He was there through the loss of one of our triplets the day before they were born and delivered our two healthy tiny (at the time) babies, and came to check on them at the NICU and checked in with me postpartum. Great human and amazing doctor. Forever grateful!!!!

Truly hard to leave this review without tears in my eyes. You will not meet a lot of people, let alone doctors, like Dr. Rodriguez.... Dedicated, determined, compassionate, knowledgable... Just a FEW of the many adjectives I'd use to describe his incredible care. My husband and I met Dr. Rodriguez during our complex twin pregnancy (mo/di). He was so patient with every question we had, took lots of time to explain our case, as well as possible courses of action. When we ultimately lost our son, Jonah, Dr. Rodriguez was there to both grieve with us, and then instill hope that we would get to meet our son Jackson. He created a care plan that allowed him to closely monitor our situation. If he couldn't meet with us personally, he reviewed our sonogram and then called to check-in or follow-up. He often came to the hospital on his "off days" just to ensure his patients needs were being met. This is probably the most remarkable part -- after our son Jackson was born, he was required to have… surgery immediately following his birth for a condition that was caught early-on. Though Dr. Rodriguez's fetal care journey with our family was complete after Jackson's birth, he still SAT WITH US in the OR waiting room. He followed-up with our surgeon and NICU team. He visited Jackson and our family throughout our NICU stay. He never stopped caring. This is a doctor that goes above the call of duty. This is someone who gives a piece of himself to all of his patients. His care and compassion is beyond what you would expect. He was an angel to our family and a beacon of hope in what was otherwise an extremely complex journey. We will forever be in his debt, and yet will always reflect upon our experience in his care with gratitude.

It was such a relief working with Dr. Rodriguez during our high risk. He is compassionate, listens, high skilled, devoted and cares about you. He would call if there were any updates and quick to answer any questions. He came to the NICU to check on me and our baby multiple times. You’re in greats hands with Dr. Rodriguez. We’re forever grateful to have him save our miracle. We trust him and his medical skills to have him as part of our second pregnancy.

Dr. Rodriguez came to us in an emergent situation. He was extremely kind, great bedside manner, and positive for a first time scared mom. We had laser surgery, and although it wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, he was so kind following up a couple weeks afterwards. We have our amazing little survivor and we would definitely like him to be our doctor again if needed.
