Dr. Alena Ashenberg, MD

Dr. Ashenberg is a caring pediatrician who is very knowledgeable. She takes time to answer questions and her office is very accommodating. My son enjoys going to the doctor! We’ve been a patient for four years and can’t say enough good things.

Our insurance changed and I was forced to find a new doctor for my children. I was mortified after a 2nd visit with this Doctor. She is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and CONDESCENDING. We did not agree on something since the first visit. She continued to push. I told her to stop she was disrespecting my parenting. She then told my kids I was wrong. I had to literally stand up and say to my kids lets go this is not the right doctor for us. I wish I could give her zero stars. We have not been back. They also refused to send my childs medical records. That they were supposed to make copies of my originals.

Dr. Ashenberg has been our family pediatrician for over 20 years. She always provides nothing less then excellent healthcare. She's a kind caring doctor who takes the time to get to know her patients. She listens to their concerns and always provides sound advice and treatment. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.

Dr Ashenberg has been my doctor since I was born and she always greets her patients with a smile. She always asks how my life is going and if there’s any problems that I have that she can help me with. She’s one of the nicest people I know and has saved me from icky fevers or virus’s since forever. She has helped my whole family and we all love her! Such a lovely person who is truly skilled at what she does, I could not ask for a better doctor!

Dr Ashenberg has been my children's Pediatrician and advocate for over 15yrs. She is caring, attentive and very professional. She takes her work seriously and goes out of her way to ensure quality patient care is provided. She takes time with her patients and follows through with any concerns. The office staff is friendly and courteous and the wait time is minimal. I've relocated a few times but would never think of changing pediatricians. I highly recommend her services.

I have been a patient of Alena Ashenburg since birth. I have never been more verbally attacked and abused by an adult in my life let alone by a pediatric doctor. She has a constant need to fat shame children, including myself and other family members who refuse to go back under her care. She forced me to go through malpractices in her office, rather than getting medically tested without supplementing medical care afterward. She once left our door open and was talking in such a negative speech I cannot retype into a review about one of her other clients. She has no respect for others and their life choices and will discuss them secretly to her staff in such vulgar language. There are several more things I could write in this review but are too bad and horrendous to be discussed here. She threatened to stop my (unrelated to her practice) medical treatment if I refused to sit through her verbal attacks, which was my last time seeing this woman in my life. She has no bedside manners in my… experience in 17 years.

Dr. Ashenberg has been seeing my son since he was born, he is now 11 years old. Quality care from all her staff. Dr. Ashenberg has provided excellent care through the years, is never in a rush and takes time to not only focus on my son’s health but also talks to him about his everyday life. She is more than a doctor to my son. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. I would recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a Pediatrician.
