Dr. Burton was awesome. Easy to talk to, and was honest. I had seen him for a second opinion on a work injury to my foot that I needed surgery on. And I was not happy with the original doctors "bed side manner". And I'm glad I did, because any further treatment will be by Dr. Burton. Would have no issues in recommending Burton to anyone, and am looking forward to seeing him from now on regarding further treatment on my foot

I was seen at Dr. Burton's clinic for a 5 minute follow-up visit with his PA. The plan made was to try physical therapy, which is logical. Unfortunately, Froedtert has no available PT appointments for greater than 1 month. To add injury to insult, I was up-charged an additional 70% by Dr. Burton for the use of the hospital clinic instead of being seen at another location. When disputing this charge and lack of transparency, I was told that Froedtert Hospital does not have to disclose these hidden charges ahead of time, I should have "known better and asked if there would be additional fees," and they do not have to provide a cost breakdown on the supplies/services I used to generate this additional fee.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Burton. He was warm, professional, attentive and very informative. I left appointment feeling like I finally have a plan in place for dealing with the pain I have in my knees and feet from osteoarthritis.
