Dr Canady no doubt is the best in her field. Without her my son who is now 23 would never have been able to walk. She told us what to expect in his life and she has nailed every single issue perfectly. My son has several neurological issues and it was hard to find someone that not only understood it but could explain it to us. My only complaint is that she retired here in Michigan and moved to Florida where she learned they had no one that could do what she does and came out of retirement and is now working there. I would love for her to be back here.

Dr. Canady was our Neurosurgeon at Childrens Hospital of Michigan. She was a wonderful, caring individual. My son was 11 when she took over his care from Dr, A.B. Eisenbrey and performed his sub-temprol decompression and he is now 36, and we will never forget her!! I just wish she was still in Michigan so she could see my niece.

She took care of me for years! Even when I got older to where I was suppose to switch to an adult Neurosurgeon she kept me on as a patient! Thanks to her and the rest of her staff I am still here after 41 years! I have been without an issue for over 14 years now!

Dr. Canady performed two surgeries on my son over twenty years ago. Today he is a University of Michigan Graduate and Chemical Engineer. God bless you Doctor.

Unfortunately, Dr. Canady was hurried during our visit. She wanted my 11 year old son to answer her questions yet he felt horrible that day. The stress she put on him was not necessary and she got the wrong answers from him. I tried to help answer her question and she quickly dismissed me. She ordered tests but said she didn't want a follow-up and I could tell she knew nothing about Chiari Malformations. I would never recommend her just for her rude personality alone. My poor son is more discouraged now than ever and does not have good quality of life. Beware of this doctor.

Dr. Canady is the best doctor I've had the pleasure of working with. I couldn't have asked for a better person, personally or professionally, to care for my son. I am so glad my son was given the best. There is no better neurosurgeon in my book.
