Pensacola city is very unfamiliar to me and when trying to find a trusted surgeon, it is a bit of a hassle. I researched, for some time, the different practitioners in town and that wasn't even the hard part. The hard part was getting a doctor to actually see me. Every other office in town turned me away - claiming that I needed at least 4-6 pieces of documentation to serve as poof that me getting a breast reduction was for health purposes and not cosmetic. While this is understandable, I found myself wasting a lot of time scrambling for this information. Dr. Ortega, however, took me right in, worried less about the proof and more about my health (of course I had to provide the documentation later). The Ortega clinic is very homey and the staff is very nice. It felt very good to go into the hospital and even the hospital staff knew him or of his reputation, and they all said I'd be fine and my breast reduction result would be marvellous- and it was. I am so very thankful for this… experience and I would not be the same if it wasn't for Ortega Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Ted Ortega spends time explaining the procedure you are seeking as well as the pros and cons for the procedure. As with all surgeries, each patient is an individual and their surgical outcome depends on many factors which Dr. Ted will explain. Yes I had him perform a face lift. Dr. Ortega said ALL cutting would be behind the ears and hairline. NOT the case I was cut almost from ear to ear. Then in front of my ears. Then to add insult to injury the drawing he had me sign showing the cutting in my hair line and behind my ears he added lines to after the fact. So, make sure you get copies of ALL signed paper work and keep it!!

Dr. Ortega performed my breast augmentation, as well as my bilateral removal and replacement. He is very knowledgeable and great at his profession. I would never go to any other surgeon.

I have seen Dr Ted Ortega since 1977 put my hand back together after i fell and cut everything in my arm and hand never thought I would be able to use my hand again.

I found Dr. Ortega to be unkept, unprofessional and dirty. He was wearing open toed sandals and was in bad need of a pedicure. His office was old and dusty as well. After my consult, I ran from his office. I would never let him touch me in anyway let alone surgically.

Dr. Ortega has been treating me since I was a baby (I'm 32 now) as I was born with a severe cleft lip and palate. We stayed with him even after we moved out of Florida (we drove 7 hrs to see him for visits!) He has been with me in every surgery and was always compassionate, patient and caring and always explained everything to my family as well as me. As a matter of fact he treated some other family members as well with amazing results. My cleft was repaired so well that we have had many compliments over the years from not only friends, family, strangers but other doctors and surgeons. We were very blessed to have found him!
