Love the man! Greatest surgeon ever.

If there is a more caring and compassionate physician around, I'd be suprised. Dr. Lurton was thorough and spent on two occasions extraordinary time explaining the medical condition and options. His office made arrangements for tests, for applying for assistance, and following through. He called me personally with followup information, and then spent over an hour reviewing and updating family members on situation. He is straight forward and tells it like it is. I could not recommend him his nurse Teresa and office staff more highly.

Dr. Lurton did my thyroid surgery, and I was so impressed with his treatment and the meticulous job he did with my surgery and scar. I would recommend him to anyone, and I'm taking my daughter to him now. Kind, caring and yes - he's fast but I appreciate that, I like to get things done.

Instead of canceling appts ahead of time, Dr.Lurton rushed in an hour late and hurried through my appt.He had an intern w/him who he spoke to instead of me.Misplaced copy of my CT scan-RN found it. He didnt sign xray order as well! Made process very difficult.1 week after xray still didnt hear from him/office because he hadnt read it yet. Told I would be called w/results.Another week later,I call again.Told must be normal since I didn't hear from him. Very disorganized. Do not recommend. Will find another doctor.

I would refer him to anyone. Top drawer.

Dr. Lurton is the best!! He is the best at taking care of kids. He is caring and so good with the kids. I love his office staff too. they are kind and caring as well.

After waiting for him for an hour, Dr. Lurton briefly looked up my nose and in my mouth (the same thing my family doctor would have done) and then tried to tell me that my constant sinus pressure and frequent infections were just a cold or allergies. When I explained that I had been to an allergist etc. he just gave me the roundabout and stood by the door trying to get out of there as soon as possible. Finally he threw me some samples and left. Unbelievable.I get that there are a lot of hypochondriacs and internet-aided self-diagnosers out there that doctors have to deal with. But as a result, doctors like Dr. Lurton have simply stopped listening to their patients who really are in need of a specialist. Thank goodness I'm going to see a real ENT tomorrow.
