Dr. Alexander S. Barsam

He is the Best of the best. If there is higher word in vocabulary I Should use but could not find one. He is the best Doctor I would say. I will tell you, no joke or not telling you to make him feel better. he does not need my appraisal anyway. He is a real professional in his specialties of ophthalmologist I ever met not here but in Italy or in Europe since i am European American with the love of America. At first glance his young age scared me and I thought he may not be the one i need. Because I used to meet older professional in my life when i go to doctor offices. I am 70 years old retired CPA and have Cataracts problems in my both eyes and I am real very hypochondriac . My eye sights were terrible for almost last 4 years. I sat in his office at Duke University Durham Clinic on Roxboro Rd. And we discussed that i need is operation was the last resort. By the force of my wife which she is Retired RN of Duke Univ. I have got eyes Cataract operations within 30 days and now 60… days gone by I can see better than my wife and no need glasses anymore for computer or watching useless TV. My eye sight i think better than i ever , like newborn baby's eyes. I am so happy. Since I wore glasses since I was 15. If I call him magician, it is absurd or strange as i do not believe in magic, but he is like ultra or even very ultra eye surgeon. He is very kind and treat me not like a patient but like a mature (we are not old yet, right?) friend like we know each other for years. No he did do it because it was the way should be but his dedication to his profession and passion to do much better and to care beyond professionalism . During and after operation never even felt that i got two eye operation in 30 days .Even when I give blood for yearly exams, I feel so . No joke those operations were easier than someone taking your blood pressure. No we are not related to Dr.Barsam or do not know him more than 60 days ago or I am not a paid patient to say all this here, of course not, but my honest duty to tell about good things for someone worry for you, your health, your health improvements, and follow your wellbeing even after hours ,do not think he deserve that much credit and appraisal? thank you Mr. Barsam. Please if you have cataract just go and see him .you will be lucky to listen to me
