Dr. Robert Thomas Stone, MD

I have been very fortunate to be able to say that Dr. Stone has been my ophthalmologist for about 20 years. I find him to be very kind and thorough. The office staff appears to be very friendly and efficient.

Dr. Stone is an excellent surgeon. He gives you a thorough exam and takes the time to carefully explain step by step what your condition is and what will be done to rectify it. I had cataract surgery with a little complication and he was honest about it!!! He never rushes you and takes time to answer all your questions. He personally contacts you at home after surgery to follow up with how you are doing and is available if you need to contact him! He is so pleasant! The office is very accommodating! I highly recommend Dr. Stone for all your vision needs!

He restored my sight

Dr Stone is a very thorough, caring doctor. First time I ever met with him I thought--wow-he's very quiet, but over time, he's been really great at answering questions I've had about a number of things, and I really trust him. I have RA, and have to be examined in light of meds I take for that, as well as helping me with routine eye checkups. He also recently performed cataract surgeries on both of my eyes, and I was a nervous wreck about that, but he took good care of me! I recognized from some of his comments how seriously he takes his role in caring for his patients. I know I'm in good hands with him as my doctor.

Not the least bit satisfied with what I saw and heard at this office. No respect whatsoever for a patient's time.

I went there several times in pain, all of the staff were helpful. Dr. Stone explained to me what the issue was and helped with the pain as well as offering options for long term solution. I left voice mails for the office, asked for my medicine when I was in pain and also when I had a question, the doctor called me back the same day. Excellent knowledgable and caring doctor. Wonderful staff.

You would be hard pressed to find a more professional, caring, thorough practicioner than Dr Stone. He is assisted by a more than capable and efficient staff

Spent time with me answered ALL my questions,told me what he was looking at and for and advised me about possible future concerns with my eyesight.The nurse who did the pre exam also answered all my quetions and was very professional.

Dr. Stone doesn't communicate to you about your exam. He writes down the results of your exam while in the office with you but doesn't offer any info or guidance. My thoughts are that he is not a good doctor. My friend said Dr. Stone operated on his eye and he told the doctor it was hurting but he didn't do anything about it. Dr. Stone's staff is very helpful, but unfortuately, I am looking around because I am not confident in his ability.
