I brought my 2-year-old son in for an evaluation of severe, chronic sleep-disordered breathing, mouth breathing, and nighttime airway obstruction. I arrived completely prepared with a detailed list of his clinical symptoms, sleep posture monitor photos, and audio/video recordings documenting severe snoring and gasping. My experience with Dr. Caton was an absolute waste of time and money: Dismissive & Uncollaborative: He walked into the room with a very smug attitude and showed zero interest in listening to my concerns or reviewing the extensive diagnostic documentation and media I brought in. Lacks Basic Pediatric Equipment: Rather than performing a standard, dynamic 3D airway evaluation (flexible nasopharyngoscopy), he pushed exclusively for a lateral neck X-ray. It turns out the practice doesn't even carry a soft pediatric flexible scope—meaning they are physically unequipped to properly evaluate a toddler's airway in-office without resorting to unnecessary radiation exposure for a… static 2D image. Brushed Off Severe Symptoms: He dismissed chronic airway gasping and structural sleep issues as "just allergies" without asking a single follow-up question about my son's sleep quality or daytime symptoms. If you are a parent looking for a collaborative, thorough ENT who uses standard pediatric diagnostic tools and actually listens to patient history, do not waste your time here. Go directly to a dedicated pediatric otolaryngology clinic instead.

I am so pleased with Dr CATEN and his staff. He was friendly and supportive. He told me exactly what I could expect from my surgery and the options I would have if worst case when I asked him. He always made me feel that he had my back. The surgery went without a hiccup. and now I am looking forward to corrective laser surgery.
