Dr. Alexander Frangas, MD

I've been a patient of dr. Frangas for at least 20yrs of 40yrs I've been going to this office. Dr.frangas has been an excellent provider, he treats mee with the utmost respect and care for what I'm feeling. He's also a great listener if your feeling anxious and need to talk about it. When I tell him how I'm feeling , he can already anticipate what it is and says don't worry I'll get you better.and he does. I can call a time if I have an emergency and be seen right away. You don't see many dr's who are so caring. The staff and nurses are so professional and treat you as if they've known you forever. And I thank you and appreciate all of your hard work.

Although I believe Dr. Frangas to be a good doctor, my inability to reach the office, or Dr. Frangas directly for questions and prescriptions refills is very disconcerting. Every time I call the office, no matter what time of day, I get put on hold and disconnected or it rings 20+ times until an answering machine picks up, where I leave a message, only to be ignored and not get a call back. The office etiquette negatively overshadows the doctor's expertise.

Dr. Frengas is a wonderful doctor. He actually listens to his patients. I live in Queens and i go out to East Meadow to see him because he is so thorough. Blood work done right on the premises.

Dr. Frangas has been treating me for over ten years. He has caught many illnesses before they got out of hand, upper resp infections, coughs, blood tests, etc. Diabetic expert!! I will stay with him forever. Always willing to see you. Calls back all the time.

Dr. Frangas has an excellent bedside manner, he comes across as kind and genuine and he takes the time at each appointment to make me(the patient) feel heard and understood.

Dr. Frangas is one of those rare doctors that truly listens and cares about his patients and their choices. He is incredible proactive and analyzes all information provided, rather than racing to a diagnosis. He has an incredible bedside manner and takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense to his patients. He is an advocate for his patients, and truly has set the standard on what a doctor should be. Prior experiences with other doctors were nothing like this, at all, and I've now been with Dr. Frangas for over 10 years.

I needed a new internist about 3 years ago and I am so grateful to have found Dr Frangas. He is kind, knowledgeable, and practices medicine with integrity. His office is modern, clean and his staff is helpful and responsive.

He took care of my mom and he is a compassionate doctor. He spends time with her and make sure somebody follows up with her when she was hospitalized. His group is the same: very compassionate and spends time with the patient to answer their questions. They collaborate and communicate the needs of their patient.
