Terrific surgeon, he fixed my massive hernia and did my bariatric sleeve. After surgery I had no problems at all. So much energy and fill so amazing. I highly recommend Dr Jacobo And his staff are amazing and so nice. I thank them all from my heart

The first time I came to this office I was very impressed. Dr Jacob( that is what I call him) took the time to answer all my questions and concerns as well as explaining everything involved with my surgery. I was there around on hour the first time and I didn’t seem or he didn’t seem rushed. The website is also very helpful and explains everything. Northside hospital is very good also, the combination is the best. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Alexander Jacobo answered all my questions and I just feel that I’m in the best hands I could be. Everything went great before and after surgery.

He educated me on what was to come and what to do. If you stick to his orders you will have the best experience. So far I have no regrets and I'm losing weight.

Dr. Jacobo is very detailed, considerate, and concise. His willingness to answer all questions and give reasons behind what he says shows his expertise and love for what he does. I could not have asked for a better doctor to handle such a sensitive and important surgery. He deserves 5/5 stars all across the board.

On June 13th, 2024, I learned that my colon had ruptured from diverticulitis and would need emergency surgery. At the time Dr. Alexander Gonzalez-Jacobo was the surgeon on call for that day. Over the next few hours it was decided to wait and see how my body would recover so I would not end up with a colostomy bag at my young age. 12 weeks later I would need surgery which I knew based on my treatment plan that was clearly explained to me. The doctors at BMI are great! I will not go anywhere else
