Dr. Gordon and his highly skilled team took my bone on bone knee and turned it into a fully functional newer model with caring, efficiency and surprisingly little discomfort. The erosion of my original equipment had taken away my active lifestyle but within a few months of surgery I was back to playing basketball pain-free. Within a year I had hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain in perfect comfort. A marvelous result. Thanks to a very caring, knowledgeable and talented surgeon and his great supporting cast.

I had both hips replaced by Dr. Gordon and they were almost non-events. Virtually no pain and I was walking fairly well within a day of both replacements. After physical therapy I was able to function as before. Highly recommended.

Thirteen years ago I had both knees replaced by another orthopedic surgeon. Five months after that surgery I was finally relatively pain free, but ten years later one of the prostheses broke and chipped off the top of my shinbone. I made an appointment with Dr. Gordon and was impressed with his explanation of what had happened medically, but what really impressed me was how he became deeply absorbed with the challenge this presented and was analyzing how to approach a solution. Soon thereafter the revision took place and my recovery was amazing - virtually no pain and in two months none with full use restored. When the other prosthesis displayed similar symptoms as the first one, I was certain that I wanted Dr. Gordon to do the surgery. It, too, went extremely well and now, two years later, my knees feel better than they have for the last 25 years. As with my satisfaction with the two surgeries, I want to add that in all of my office visits he never once rushed through the… appointments and he took the time to patiently and thoroughly answer all of my questions. I feel enormous gratitude for his professional skill and his personal thoughtfulness.

I never thought I would play tennis again. Within 4 months after Dr Gordon replaced my right hip I was back on the courts. After I felt confidant enough - within 6 months - I was playing 3 times a week, as well as speed walking and exercising.

FOR THIS BEING MY FIRST SURGERY EVER IN " MY LIFE" ( iwas a nervous wreck ) BUT HE SAID THINGS WOULD BE GREAT , AND 5 YEARS LATER THEY STILL ARE , HE IS THE BEST !!!! My husband and I each had both knees replaced by Dr. Gordon, taking turns. All four surgeries went very well and we're very happy with the results. We can now chase our grandson around !

When I finally decided to get rid of my knee pain (and sleep through the night without pain), I found Dr. Gordon and his staff was right for me. I was quite bow-legged and replacing both knees at the same time was my best option. He agreed to install a specific joint replacement that was right for my active body. Surgery was a couple hours. I was walking in the hospital (with assistance) the next day and was home on the third day. PT was at home for three weeks. A nurse visited 2-3 times per week during the PT to regulate my blood thinners. 8 weeks of PT at Athletico and I was walking with no pain. I marvel at how straight my legs are now. My wife and I did a 5 day walking tour of Washington DC 4 months after surgery. Not a problem at all. Dr. Gordon and his IBJI practice & staff worked wonders for me!
