Summary
During his studies, he received the highest honors award of Clinical Restorative Dentistry in his class. In 1989, he graduated as a Doctor of Medicine Dentistry. His father had since retired from dentistry and upon graduation he took over his father's family practice, Astoria Dental in Astoria, New York. In 1993, due to demand for his services, Dr. Lopez opened a second practice, Grand Dental, in Englewood, New Jersey.
In 2000, Dr. Oscar Lopez decided to relocate to South Florida and bring "Astoria Dental to the beach." His Astoria Dental at the Beach practice now provides the same warm, welcoming environment of his New York practice. He serves patients from all over and he is also well known in the acting and modeling community in New York and South Florida as he provided many actors and models with their perfect smiles. Dr. Lopez is dedicated to staying on the "cutting edge" of dentistry to provide his patients with the best and most advanced treatments.
Since Dr. Oscar Lopez's …formal education, he has also completed hundreds of continued education courses in all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is also the Founding member of the Bergen County Dental Implant Club, and is currently a fellow and soon to be diplomat of the ICOI, Internal Congress of Oral implantalogy.
