I had an extremely bad gout flare, which caused me to have an open wound in a very difficult spot to heal. I can't thank Dr. Melman and his incredible team of nurses, staff and especially Danielle enough for their kindness and caring ways. After a long road, my wound has healed because of the wonderful care and expertise in wound care and vascular care provided by Dr. Melman and his team. I am truly blessed to have had them all care for me. My quality of life has improved greatly! Dr. Melman and Long Island Vascular are the BEST!!!

He is a very cheerful happy doctor and is very caring and great bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and his staff is also.

Writing on behalf of my mum and I myself(as the primary caregiver) My mum was his patient and she was at risk of losing both legs due to illness. He immediately knew what was happening (after multiple doctor visits to podiatrist and GP) and scheduled an emergency surgery to save her leg. He explained and helped me and family each step of the way, diagnosis and what to expect. The following year she had her other leg operated and can now walk. Forever grateful to have him as my mum surgeon.

Professional all the way. From minimal wait time to his willingness to answer all our questions and then answer them again. To help use to really understand all that was involved even providing step by step procedures and time lines. Actual surgery was completly successful and the Dr. was right there to give use the good news. Followup visits went smoothly. Dr Melman would be the man I would use again should I or my family ever need these types of services again.
