Dr. Alexander Johannes Nedopil, MD

I am now over 12 months post total knee replacements. I write this review with honesty and with no disrespect towards Dr. Nedopil. He is a good surgeon as reflected in his review posts on his Google account and his Adventist Health Lodi Memorial web pages. I am sharing my personal experience only on this platform. The several months following my TKR, follow up by Dr. Nedopil was dismissive regarding several post TKR health concerns which were all conveyed to him. I have received a second orthopedic opinion. After consultation and testing I have a highly reactive nickel allergy. I will see a third orthopedic surgeon to review to discuss my case. Every patient heals differently, but post TKR follow up is important to ones recovery. My regrets are not insisting on pre-implantation testing since other TKR options and materials are available for suitable patients with metal allergy's. I also regret not getting a second opinion and to insist on physical therapy and a complete physical… workup. TKR is a major surgery. Unfortunately, I remain disappointed that Dr. Nedopil and I were not able to have a mutual trusting patient-doctor relationship.
