Dr. Perkelvald is a brilliant and kind physician. I had a very complicated case and he literally saved my life. Expert in thyroid issues especially nodules. Did my biopsy in office. very gentle. Affiliated with Columbia in the city he referred me to top surgeon! He's a Manhattan type doctor located in Brooklyn. Very lucky to have gone to him! Highly recommend!

My first visit with Dr. Perkelvald went extremely well. Very kind and patient man who answered all my questions. Gave clear concise explanations of all matters pertaining to parathyroid conditions along with excellent advice. Staff is very friendly. Got an appointment immediately and wait time was minimal. Thank you all.

Doctor is aloof, cold, and never looked at me once. He spent all his but 5 minutes peering into a computer monitor pushing keys on a keyboard. He never said a word. Never suggested or made a diagnosis. WORST OF ALL: the wait time was 1 hours 50 minutes!!! Doctor is NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you have diabetes Run don't walk. This individual is clueless. They don't have an A1C, Dr doesn't check optic nerve, he does not have filament to check feet. I was told it wore out lmaoooo. To make matters even more bizarre he had no interest in checking my glucometer as he forgot to inquire. I doubt they have the computer programs. This clown practices medicine clearly does not Work as a doctor. Should have license revoked asap

I am a patient of Dr. Perkelvald for more than 10 years. He and his wife (Vita Oklander) are great professionals who really care about their patients. I would like to thank the doctor and all great people who work in his office.

Horrible experience!!! I waited almost a week just to have doctor/staff fill out my paper work to get authorization for my pump. Called several times and always got the run around answer. Doctor himself told me "I don't have time" to fill out my paper work which takes just a few mins to sign and fax back to insurance company and I was on my last pump which needed to be changed. I had to leave work a few hours early and go in person to the office for something to be done. I will be taking my records and finding another doctor.

Dr. Perkelvald is a caring and thorough physician. He even called me while on vacation because he was concerned. My thyroid condition is now totally controlled because of him. Best Endocrinologist and person.
