Alexander Rotenberg, MD, PhD

Dr. Alexander Rotenberg, MD, PhD, is Director of the Neuromodulation Program and a neurologist in the Division of Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as an associate professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric epilepsy, neurophysiology, and noninvasive brain stimulation, with internationally recognized expertise in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), neuromodulation, and innovative therapies for epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Rotenberg earned his medical and doctoral degrees from McGill University and completed residency and fellowship training in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In addition to his clinical work, he leads pioneering research focused on developing advanced neuromodulation technologies to better understand and treat epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurologic conditions in …children.
